From the inception of Share International magazine, Benjamin Creme’s Master provided an article every month for nearly 35 years. These were intended to be published not only at the time they were written, but also whenever appropriate according to world circumstances.
Whenever man is bereft of hope, seeing no way forward, no way to solve his problems, he sets up an instinctive cry for succour, an appeal to God to help him in his anguish. Thus it was during the war years earlier this century [20th century] that the travail through which humanity was passing invoked the Christ, called Him forth once more into the world. Never before, through all vicissitudes, has so much depended upon His coming, for never before has man controlled such forces of destruction.
Today, the nations are divided, as ever. Each claims to be the repository of the world’s wisdom, offering men the choice between freedom and justice. How absurd it is that men should be proffered such a choice. Freedom and justice are divine and that divinity is indivisible. There can be no freedom without justice, no justice bereft of freedom. Shortly, men will be offered the opportunity to end for ever this travesty of truth and so heal the breach between the nations. It requires but the simple realization that all men are divine and have the same divine right to share in God’s gifts and plans. Lacking such realization men would know no peace.
When men see the Christ they will realize that they are not alone, that God’s Representative has answered their call and returned to help them. He will remind them of their source in Divinity and of their kinship, brothers all. He will place before them the choices for the future and exercise His right of counsel. He will outline the steps towards a better life for all, a life more in keeping with the spiritual nature of man. He will teach and lead and thus change the world through the actions of men.
At first, progress may be slow as men grow accustomed to the benefits of change but in due course the pace will quicken until all is caught up in a ferment of change. Naught can stop this process, for it finds its origin in the Mind of God. Naught can for long resist the magnet of God’s Plan.
Without doubt, the greatest hindrance to the Plan’s successful working is the present insecurity of men. They see around them a hostile world, feel threatened on all sides by penury and want. The nuclear threat hangs heavily over all. The counsel of Maitreya will show men that they have nothing to fear but their fear. That a blessed future awaits man if he will but act in his own best interests. That the Intention of God is man’s greatest good. He will show that men must act to create the world they want; that He comes not to save but to point the way. He will empower all who take upon themselves the burden and joy of service. He will anoint all who share His burden.
The upholders of the old sense the danger but fight a losing battle. They seek to strengthen the walls of their citadel in vain. Their ramparts weaken as the tide of justice turns. Their buttresses betray them as men strike out for freedom. Into this turmoil Maitreya has come, to put His divine resources at the service of man.

These articles are by a senior member of the Hierarchy of Masters of Wisdom. His name, well-known in esoteric circles, is not yet being revealed. Benjamin Creme, a principal spokesman about the emergence of Maitreya, was in constant telepathic contact with this Master who dictated his articles to him.
At every lecture he gave around the world, and virtually every day of his life, Benjamin Creme was asked numerous questions covering a vast range of topics. We draw on this large recorded resource and present here a selection of previously unpublished answers provided over the years by Mr Creme and his Master.
Share International has a reserve of unpublished letters which were confirmed by Benjamin Creme and his Master to be genuine encounters with Masters, or a ‘spokesperson’. Other letters, such as the one below, are new, and while we cannot confirm or indicate whether a Master is involved, we present it for your consideration.
On the morning of 16 April 2022 (Easter weekend) our daughter, Rachel, complained of feeling a bit unwell with a sore throat. Nausea is something that she experiences periodically; however, this seemed a bit more severe and after a few hours we decided to give her a rapid Covid test. Sure enough, she tested positive. We took measures right away to set up her room and our whole family donned masks and took various precautions and prepared for a five day lockdown as per our local guidelines. We had several hours of face-timing and including her in family activities followed by dinner.
Before dinner, I went in to her room and gave her some vibhuti; a gift from a private home known to have lots of vibhuti manifestations which had been given to us by coworkers (originally a gift to them). I had been saving a small portion of the vibhuti in case any of us or someone we knew contracted the virus. Rachel placed a small amount of vibhuti on her hand and licked the vibhuti. Shortly after leaving the room, I heard her call out.
“The vibhuti came back.”
I looked at her hand and there was a thin line of vibhuti in the centre of her left hand.
“Well, sometimes there is a bit of residue from vibhuti. Try licking it off and I’ll get my phone.”
I got my phone, went back and looked at her hand. The vibhuti was back. Same spot and same small line. I took a picture of her hand and then went to video.
“Try licking your hand again while I record it!”
Rachel gave her hand a good lick and showed it to the camera and it was completely clear. We waited for about 15 seconds and then she looked at her hand, closed it, opened it and looked at it again. Then she showed me. The vibhuti was back! Amazing!
Rachel took another lick and washed her hands and this time it didn’t come back. The appearance of the vibhuti was very reassuring and we were all very relieved knowing that Rachel would be ok.
The next day was Easter Sunday and Rachel woke up feeling pretty good, still a bit groggy but overall much better. We continued with testing and even though she continued to test positive for a while there were very few symptoms and none of us caught it from her!
We present here “signs of hope” and “signs of the time” which have not been confirmed by Benjamin Creme’s Master. We present them for your consideration only since we are unable to verify their ‘miraculous’ nature.
The Master Djwhal Khul has outlined for us the Teachings of the Christ which, we shall find, are the Teachings which we all inherently know and accept to be true: right human relations are at the basis of our lives and to create such right relations we come into incarnation again and again. He will reiterate the need, and show again the way, to implement them.
The first step in the creation of right human relations is the transformation of our political, economic and social structures. The spiritual crisis through which mankind is passing is focused today through these fields, and at the core of the economic problem is that of distribution and redistribution. Right human relations is the next, divinely ordained, achievement of humanity. It is not possible to stand in right relationship to our brothers and sisters in the developing countries when we live in luxury and waste while they starve and die in their millions.
The solution is obvious: sharing the resources of this plentiful world is the essential first step into right relationship. Maitreya will make this clear and inspire humanity to act towards this end. His call for sharing and justice as the only way to true peace (and therefore to the continuance of the race and the saving of the world) is essentially a call for the establishment of right human relations and the renunciation of the manifestly wrong relationships in the world today: the competition and greed, individually, nationally, and internationally; the hatred and violence, world-wide and potent as never before; the separativeness and exclusiveness, the fanatical adherence to one’s own ideal; all the bitterness and distrust which has brought us to the edge of self-destruction.
The Sword of cleavage
The potency of His energy of Love — the sword of cleavage — has produced the polarization which now exists and will show clearly the way forward for humanity. Around Him will gather all those who stand for inclusiveness and love, justice and freedom of the human spirit. Those who stand for separativeness and exploitation, competition and greed will likewise stand revealed and the choice before humanity will be crystal clear: between love and hate, between sharing and greed, between peace and war, life and death.
The Christ has said (in Message no. 11, January 1978), “My heart tells Me your answer, your choice, and is glad”. Responding to His love energy, people in every country (it is already happening) will form themselves into groups demanding justice and peace and right relations. Soon these groups will become the largest and most potent force in the world, ushering in the new era of peace and goodwill. …

The assumption today is that education promotes the ability to fully benefit from and contribute to living in society. Often too, education is seen as that which allows the individual to ‘fulfill their potential’.
The following articles take the notion of the ‘good citizen’ for granted but also go much further. The essential aim of education for the New Age is to enable the person to grow in understanding of him or herself as a soul in incarnation. Knowing this with deep certainty allows us to take up our place in society and to contribute with joy, a sense of meaning and an understanding of the unity of all life. Secondary to this growing awareness will be the knowledge and skills that are commonly thought of as the aims of education and that will enable the person to take up their place in society — or indeed in some cases to contribute to remake our world. But knowing that we are a soul in incarnation is the basis for everything else.
In seeking insights into the direction which education in the New Age might take, it will prove useful to establish the basic purpose which education serves and so throw light on the inadequacies of present educational approaches. Firstly, it must be understood for whom education exists and the process by which it carries out its function. This may be less obvious than at first sight may seem to be the case, for man has long been ignorant of his true nature and constitution, taking the part for the whole, and ignoring, to a large extent, his essential being.
Man, as a soul in incarnation, is an emerging God, and, through the Law of Rebirth, is advancing slowly to the demonstration, in full splendour, of that divinity. Education, in its true sense, is the means by which an individual, through a gradual expansion of conscious awareness, is fitted and fits himself for that goal. All that aids this process is education, however formal or informal the method might be.
In today’s sense, education is a feeble thing indeed, ensuring only the minimum requirements for an understanding and control of man’s environment. Few there are who learn more than the rudiments of life’s meaning and purpose, caught up, as most people are, in the daily struggle for existence.
Whole nations, today, are all but illiterate still. Elsewhere, facts-full minds stand idle for lack of meaningful work. Education for jobs has replaced education for life while, more and more, the stresses and strains of such imbalance erupt in violence of all kinds.
Education should be understood as the means by which the indwelling God is contacted, known and given expression. Traditionally, religion has been seen to serve this purpose and religious education remains a bulwark in many countries today. However, religion is but one of many paths to God, and ways must be found which will allow all men to know and to express their experience of divinity.
To this end the new education should address itself. The fact of the soul, the Divine Intermediary, must gain general acceptance, and techniques of contact with this higher principle attain common usage.
When the ray structure, evolutionary development and purposes of the soul are known and documented, a more scientific approach can be made to the education of both children and adults, and a new meaning given to the process by which men learn to become Gods.
All of this awaits the earnest endeavours of those working in the educational field. Fitment for such tasks should be the aim of all aspiring to teach the young. Never has a better opportunity for service presented itself to those ready for the challenges of education for life in the New Age which now opens before us all. A new vista of possibilities will soon appear as men grapple with the problems of separation and division. This will release the forces and inspire the techniques of training and teaching which will bring men in due course to the feet of God.

This is obviously true. If we do not know the purpose of education, if we do not know the nature of the being of the people we are being asked to educate, and if the present educational methods and approaches are not changed, then it is obvious we will not make much progress in training the young and adults for the experience of life in the new age.
Life in the new age will be completely different from all previous experiences on this planet. None of us, except the most evolved, will have gone through the stages of enlightenment, and the resulting growing meaningfulness of their lives, under the instruction of the Masters of Wisdom.
In this coming time the Masters will be living openly in the world. … A large number of the Masters are involved in education of some kind. Their disciples will become the teachers, in the first place, of the people who will most likely perform the main task of training and educating all groups, young and old, in this coming time.
As the nature of the human constitution and the aims of life on planet Earth are realized, as the world becomes more and more united through sharing, justice and peace, so more and more people will find in themselves the need to know: about who they are, their purpose in life, and their stage in evolution.
People will talk a great deal about evolution, which will become the most significant factor on planet Earth. The evolution of human consciousness, and the development of all the kingdoms in nature, will dominate the thought and purpose of men and women everywhere.
As people become more aware of their identity as souls in incarnation, they will begin to express more of their soul quality.
Therefore, the intuition will begin to work in people in whom it hardly plays a part today. More and more, we will intuit the possibilities and meanings behind the outer appearances of life. We will want to know who we are in all aspects. Why were we born? Were we really born before? Are we really the result of a succession of lives through the Law of Rebirth? …
Education is a question of awareness. Through awareness we open ourselves to life, all things being equal allowing us to do so, as there are many social circumstances that hold back this process. Life is vibrating as energy, and by the growing conscious awareness of the meaning and effect of that energy, we evolve, we become more aware of the meaning and purpose of life.
It is an intuitive process. Our intuition is really conscious awareness. As it develops, as we become more and more like the nature of the soul, our consciousness becomes more like the soul. …

Fifty years ago, one of the most read scientific studies on possible futures of human life on the planet was published, but because its basic message was so antithetical to mainstream thought at the time, the report — The Limits to Growth — was largely rejected. Today, a new publication, Limits and Beyond, revisits its conclusions and recommendations and finds the original work both accurate and prescient.
Limits and Beyond is a collection of articles by leading thinkers, scientists, and economists — including two authors of the original report, Dennis Meadows and Jorgen Randers. The book seeks to analyze the original work’s impact and assess how we might better address its fundamental message: that a planet with limited resources cannot sustain eternal growth, an assessment as sound today as it was then.
The Club of Rome, which sponsored both reports, was founded in 1968 to bring together thinkers from diverse backgrounds — business, science, politics, and civil society — to look at the future of humanity from a systemic, long-term, global perspective. …
The purpose was not to predict the future, but to present a set of possibilities based on scientific evidence that humanity could use to collectively decide on its future. Unfortunately, most of the scenarios showed that if policies remained unchanged, human industrial civilizations would collapse during the first half of the 21st century. Widely misinterpreted as a flat prediction of the future, the report both shocked and repelled many readers. However, 50 years later, Limits and Beyond includes a reproduction of one of the original 1972 scenarios that tracks historical data quite well from 1970 through 2010, and the trajectory does in fact end in collapse. …
In Limits and Beyond, the authors address these two cultural shortcomings and offer alternatives. Readers of this magazine will recognize their calls for cooperation rather than competition, unity incorporating diversity rather than divisiveness, equity and social justice, and the need to reduce consumption and simplify our lives. All authors agree that there is a positive pathway to a better future, but it requires deep structural change. And they are careful to point out that needed change will look different in communities or countries where people are currently excluded compared to places where the majority benefit from the status quo. A forced unity would necessarily reflect one worldview — the dominant one — and for any cultural reconfiguration to succeed, all worldviews should be represented. …
Yes, the new book confirms that we’re still headed for collapse under current policies and cultural programming, but we can learn from alternative models of organizing societies that are inclusive, egalitarian, grounded in the natural world, and reflective of higher human values. An educated humanity has agency and can change course. …
People power manifests itself in many different ways among those living in difficult and deprived places or doing hard physical work. For example, many young people organize themselves to live with dignity and take control of their destiny in innovative ways. Manual workers take on responsibilities in local or political associations. …
From hotel maid to parliament
Rachel Keke was born in the Ivory Coast in 1974, and migrated to France when she was 26. She became a hotel maid in 2003 in the hotel Ibis Batignolles, in Paris. Being a hotel maid is a very physically demanding job. She describes the job as one that destroys the body: “Sometimes, we are so tired that we cry.” With the help of the union CGT, she led a victorious struggle with 20 other workers against the Accor group. Nobody believed they could win but, after a 22-month fight, they obtained a substantial wage increase, reduction in working hours and the cancellation of the transfer of the 10 workers suffering from an occupational disease. They resisted threats and intimidation. They often used creative methods like celebratory occupation of the hotel, with rhythmic songs and dances: “Frottez, frottez, il faut payer, l’esclavage, c’est fini, la sous-traitance c’est fini” (“Scrub, scrub, you have to pay, slavery is over, outsourcing is over”). Their objective was to become visible. In a Mediapart* interview, Keke declares: “We are racialized women, if we weren’t black, we wouldn’t have been treated like this. This work was destroying our bodies, thirteen people were sick because of this work.” She demands that politicians deal with the exploitation of immigrant workers, especially through subcontracting, which generates much suffering.”
In May 2022, she was elected to the French parliament’s National Assembly with ‘La France Insoumise’ [France Unbowed]. The spokeswoman for the struggle of the cleaning ladies of the Ibis Batignolles defeated the former Minister of Sports Roxana Maracineau with 51.38 per cent of the votes against 48.62 per cent. She won against prejudice that the working class does not have the cultural and mental knowledge to work in politics, which is a way of imposing the bourgeoisie domination and the perpetuation of social inequalities. In the parliament, during a discussion on the increase of the minimum wage, she harangued the French MPs coming mostly from privileged classes, “Anyone who has never earned 800, 900, 1000 euros per month, not per day, cannot not know the pain of essential work.”
