From the inception of Share International magazine, Benjamin Creme’s Master provided an article every month for nearly 35 years. These were intended to be published not only at the time they were written, but also whenever appropriate according to world circumstances.
When humanity sees Maitreya, whether they recognize Him or not, they will feel obliged to support Him or to reject Him and all He stands for: sharing, justice and peace. Thus will men be divided and known. Thus will the Sword of Cleavage perform its destined task, and thus will Maitreya know the readiness of men for change. Appearing before men as one of them, the Great Lord ensures that men follow and support Him for the truth and sanity of His ideas rather than for His status.
Nevertheless, it matters not whether they recognize Him as Maitreya, as the Christ, or simply as a man Whose wisdom coincides with their own aspiration for justice and peace, for a better world for all men.
Gradually, we must assume, many will begin to see Maitreya as the One awaited by all religious groups under their various names, and will call Him thus. Some will say: “He must be the Mahdi,” while others will declaim: “Krishna has come again, the law is fulfilled!” Others will ask: “Surely he is the Messiah, come at last,” while still others will see Him as the Christ or Maitreya Buddha. All will see Him as their Expected One, fulfilling their hopes and come to fulfill their needs.
Maitreya will neither affirm nor deny these claims nor should those among His workers who believe they have recognized Him. Not until the Day of Declaration will Maitreya acknowledge His true identity and status.
On that glorious day men will know, beyond all gainsaying, that their long wait has not been in vain, that help, indeed, is at hand, that the Teacher is ready to aid and guide. That He comes as an Elder Brother rather than a Saviour, ready to take the lead to save our planet, and to enable men themselves to restore sanity to their lives and ways of living.
Maitreya will show that our problems are many but solvable. That the solution to all is already in our hands. That the simple act of sharing, alone, has the power to transform life on Earth for the better. He will ask for man’s trust, as an Elder Brother, that He will not lead them into other than their destined path of harmony and love, that they have nothing to fear but their fear, and that the way ahead already has the blueprint of the Divine.
Thus will Maitreya ease the way for men to embark on a transformation huge in scope, involving all men and women everywhere, a transformation which will launch humanity into a glorious enterprise, the restoration of Planet Earth to its rightful place among its sister planets of our system.

These articles are by a senior member of the Hierarchy of Masters of Wisdom. His name, well-known in esoteric circles, is not yet being revealed. Benjamin Creme, a principal spokesman about the emergence of Maitreya, was in constant telepathic contact with this Master who dictated his articles to him.
Message from Maitreya
“Wait for Me a little longer only, and you will find your dreams fulfilled. So will it be, and soon My nourishing Love will strengthen and invest your life with joy.”
(Received by a process of mental telepathy through Benjamin Creme, at the end of a television interview in Amsterdam, the Netherlands on 23 September 2004. See: Share International November 2004 and A Master Speaks Volume Two)
At every lecture he gave around the world, and virtually every day of his life, Benjamin Creme was asked numerous questions covering a vast range of topics. We draw on this large recorded resource and present here a selection of previously unpublished answers provided over the years by Mr Creme and his Master.
Share International has a reserve of unpublished letters which were confirmed by Benjamin Creme and his Master to be genuine encounters with Masters, or with a ‘spokesperson’.
(1) On 5 April 2008, our group hosted a DVD lecture by Benjamin Creme followed by a Q&A panel discussion. As the doors were opening, a tall black man dressed in a black shirt and black pants was one of our first guests to arrive. He resembled Desmond Tutu. Everyone in our group noticed him.
He went into the auditorium and sat by himself. Then he waved at the two women already seated, as if he knew them. He moved from his seat and went over to chat with them for a few minutes. He was offered an Emergence Quarterly, which he read. He declined the pencil and paper for questions and said he would not be staying long. In fact, he got up to leave five minutes before we started. Out in the hall, one of our members spoke a few minutes with him. The gentleman said he was studying for his master’s degree in business administration. Then he said: “Now I have to go to work, but I will return.” As he walked away, another of our group members looked at him and thought: “You are Maitreya.” He looked at her and smiled.
(2) At the same event, a petite black woman came to the display table after the lecture. She had shoulder-length hair and wore a black suit. Her name was Lenore.
She said: “I was here to do some work and I saw your flier. I needed to come to this presentation. Now I have questions…. Was Jesus the World Teacher for the Age of Pisces? How does one get to be a Master? Are you called or chosen?” When I talked about the evolution of consciousness, she said: “You are talking about reincarnation, a Hindu concept. I grew up Methodist with dogmas about the Trinity, the Nicene Creed.” When I shared that the Master Jesus would be working with the Christian churches, she responded with much delight, “Is Jesus in the world?” I said that he worked closely with Maitreya.
The visitor also commented on her concerns for the world regarding pollution and global warming. Then she said: “Well, I have all my reading materials. Now I have to get back to do what I came to do.” I thanked her for coming and she walked away, pulling her suitcase. Was this a special visitor?
I think it was in the early 1990s, when I was with a group of people at Tekels Park [a Theosophical Centre], where I was to give a talk about religion. I was petrified. Actually, I didn’t do this but talked about the world situation and Maitreya for about 25 minutes. We said the Great Invocation and I quoted “When the Christ, the Avatar of Love …” from one of my Alice Bailey books. That’s it really, but later I was told that several people had seen a tall man dressed in white. He had entered Tekels some weeks later, walked straight through the building to the dining room, and then walked out again. Nobody knew who he was. I just wondered whether it could have been Maitreya?
We present here “signs of hope” and “signs of the time” which have not been confirmed by Benjamin Creme’s Master. We present them for your consideration only since we are unable to verify their ‘miraculous’ nature.
![The Netherlands — On 20 January 2022, I photographed the ‘star’ once again [previously confirmed by Benjamin Creme’s Master to have been Maitreya’s ‘star’]. It is more or less always visible here, looking south, 25 degrees up in the sky. With the naked eye it looks like a star, but it distinguishes itself with a flickering, multi-coloured and kind of ‘artificial’ light; it also looks closer and has a definite structure (lines, angles, shapes) to it. Through a high magnification zoom camera though, a fantastic light show is seen, with spirals of light in different colours being thrown out of something that must be a huge ship (the size of a football field, according to Benjamin Creme). While photographing, I realized “the space brothers are really here!” and my heart melted…

[Note: Readers may be interested to note that, according to Benjamin Creme, the ‘star’ is larger than mentioned here. “Each ‘star’ is about the size of five football fields put together.” Share International, September 2009]](https://rsrc.share-international.org/images/202203-ufo_star_amsterdam_20220120_composite.jpg)
Mounting income and wealth inequalities are among the most pressing issues of our time. People around the world are becoming aware of their detrimental impact on our social and economic lives, and are looking for solutions. Having access to accurate and comprehensive data on inequalities is therefore crucial if we are to collectively take the right actions and decisions. The World Inequality Report 20221 recently published by the World Inequality Lab and co-authored by Thomas Piketty, makes a decisive contribution to this debate. …
The first lesson of the report, which is hardly a surprise, is that we live in a highly unequal world. In 2021, global income amounted to €86 trillion (US$122 trillion)2. If that income had been evenly divided among the 5.1 billion adults on Earth, each of them would have earned €16,700 ($23,380) over the year. The actual outcome was of course quite different. The bottom 50 per cent of the world population earned only 8 per cent of total global income (€2,800 on average), while the top 10 per cent earned 52 per cent of that same total (€87,200 on average). Inside that upper group, the world top 1 per cent, which consists of only 51 million people, earned 19 per cent of the total. An even smaller group, the top 0.1 per cent, got 8 per cent of the total, as much as the bottom 50 per cent.
The income distribution is thus very unequal. But the allocation of wealth is even worse. The bottom 50 per cent of the world population owns only 2 per cent of global net wealth (€2,900 on average, typically in cash, deposits, land or housing, once debts have been subtracted). In other words, the poorest half owns almost nothing. At the other extreme, the top 10 per cent owns 76 per cent of global wealth, and inside that group, the top 1 per cent owns as much as 38 per cent. To summarize, the world suffers from very high income inequality and extreme wealth inequality. …
This brings us to the second lesson of the report: inequalities are not inevitable or mechanically determined by the level of economic development; on the contrary, they stem from political and institutional choices, which differ across regions and countries. As a consequence, they can be acted upon. …

In the context of the planetary ecological urgency, the report also explores inequalities in contribution to climate change. The analysis builds on computed individual carbon footprints, which correspond to the carbon emissions generated by one’s own consumption and investments. On average, each individual on the planet emits 6.6 tons of CO2 per year3. But this global average covers wide disparities. The global 50 per cent bottom emitters contribute an average of 1.6 tons, while the top 10 per cent emitters contribute 31 tons, and the top 1 per cent as much as 110 tons. In other words, half of total emissions are caused by one tenth of the population, and just one hundredth of the population emits about 50 per cent more than the entire bottom half. …
The third lesson of the report is thus that climate policies, if they are to be both efficient and accepted, have to be designed by taking inequalities into account. The rich are the ones who must bear most of the adjustment, directly by slashing their emissions, and indirectly by financially compensating the poor for their carbon mitigation efforts.
The report concludes by making policy proposals for redistributing income and wealth and addressing the challenges of the 21st century. In particular, it stresses the importance of progressive taxation, by showing how a modest global progressive wealth tax on multimillionaires would generate significant revenues for governments, which could be reinvested in education, health, and the ecological transition. It is to be hoped that the detailed and persuasive evidence on inequalities presented in this report will help convince citizens and global leaders that such a tax reform, and more generally a radical redesign of our economic system, is urgently needed.

2. In the report, monetary amounts are expressed in Purchasing Power Parity (PPP), which means that they are converted into euros using exchange rates adjusted for differences in the cost of living across countries. In particular, at PPP, €1 = US$1.4 = ¥5.
3. Other greenhouse gases such as methane (CH4) and nitrous oxides (NOx) are also included in these figures, after conversion into their CO2 equivalent.
Academic neurosurgeon Dr Eben Alexander III was a committed materialist until a near death experience (NDE) and a miraculous complete cure transformed his worldview. He is now an eminent international speaker on the role of consciousness in wellbeing and healing. In the first part of Shereen Abdel-Hadi Tayles’ interview with him (Share International, January/February 2022) Dr Alexander discussed the origins of his work to align science and religion, his belief in reincarnation and his understanding of the oneness of all life. …

SI: What changes do you hope to see in the medical field, based on your own experience of NDE?
EA: The main change I’d like to see is happening very rapidly. And one of the main reasons I wrote the book Proof of Heaven was to help wake up the medical community to the reality of all this. Karen and I hear from a lot of doctors, nurses and other scientists, but certainly those in the healing profession, speak with gratitude for our sharing the message of our books Proof of Heaven, Map of Heaven and Living in a Mindful Universe.
Especially that third book, for the scientific mind and the medical community, is a gigantic leap forward. It helps them say, well, the default expectation and understanding of reality is this bigger reality where mind is fundamental, and we have tremendous power with our mind over our health and healing. It makes more sense with all the data we have than the silly limited materialistic model that tries to debunk and deny that any of that is possible.

So, the more I can awaken the medical profession to that and help them to take the lid off of the millions of NDEs that happen every year around this world, then the more this world will change. To me, opening up the medical profession is one of the key ingredients to opening the world at large, because in so many ways they’ve been the gatekeepers of these stories. Just as I was before my coma — I was one of those materialist doctors who would pat somebody on the back, say: “Well, you were very sick, but the dying brain plays all kinds of tricks, so you can forget about it.” But that’s not true. We know that there’s far more to these stories and experiences that needs some deep explanation and that helps us understand the truth about our very existence. And that’s why opening up the medical profession has been one of my main goals.
I know that a lot of scientists, who are very respected globally in consciousness studies, have been endorsers of our book Living in a Mindful Universe. Ultimately, it is a scientific revolution.
This bigger view is so exciting, not just for the individual, but for humankind at large. It gives us a much bigger theater of operations that makes far more sense than that bleak and paltry fiction of materialism that pretends that we are physical bodies, birth to death, nothing more. All that is false and does not fit the empirical data. That’s why it’s so important that this revolution is actually one that is based in science.
There’s something much deeper going on here. And that’s what we’re just beginning to get to, but ultimately, people need to understand this is not a revolution of faith. It’s a revolution of scientific understanding of the nature of reality, of the mind/brain relationship, and of our very consciousness and that’s why this is so important to get right.
We present a selection of quotations on the theme of ‘Right relationship with all Life’. The quotations are taken from Maitreya (Messages from Maitreya the Christ), Benjamin Creme’s Master (A Master Speaks Volumes One and Two), and Benjamin Creme’s writings.
