From the inception of Share International magazine, Benjamin Creme’s Master provided an article every month for nearly 35 years. These were intended to be published not only at the time they were written, but also whenever appropriate according to world circumstances.
Each century brings mankind closer to his goal: the demonstration, in all its perfection, of the Light of God. In this way, man becomes what he potentially is — a living God. Each incarnation marks a step cut in the mountain of ascent. With each such experience man adds to his vehicles a modicum of light, subtly changing thereby the vibration of his bodies. When all his bodies are thus vibrating to the frequency of light, the task is completed, the journey ended. From the point of view of man, the journey is over; from the point of view of Those Who have achieved, the journey has but begun.
Thus each man and woman makes the metamorphosis from man to god. Out of the chrysalis of matter, with all its limitations, emerges the liberated Master, radiating the Light of God.
Across the vastness of the universe, this Light persists; through all dimensions and planes it expresses its nature, conditioned only by the forms in which it shows itself. These forms give access to the Light to those whose consciousness rests in the world of matter, but essentially Light is formless, needing no structure to sustain its Being.
Deep within each one of us dwells such a light, awaiting the opportunity to shine forth. Within each glows the potential of all Cosmos. Within each, too, is the will to bring forth that light and thus make manifest the nature of God. That Light and that Will pertain to the soul and come into activity as a result of soul alignment. Seek, therefore, alignment with the soul and bring into manifestation the purpose of God. Search within and find the source of all knowledge and love. Reveal to the world the Light of the soul and join the ranks of those who serve.
The world stands ready for more light. The peoples everywhere are thirsty for new knowledge of themselves and of God. Because of this readiness, the Masters have prepared Themselves to inaugurate a new era of Light. Limitless opportunities for progress will be offered to mankind: man will marvel at the discoveries which will open the door to mastery of natural forces; he will stand amazed by the wonder and beauty thus revealed; he will know for certain the fact of God and his relation to that divinity, and will enter willingly into co-operation with the Divine Plan.
All of this awaits humanity as it stands at the threshold of the Aquarian Age. This will be an age in which the Divine Plan will flourish once again, bringing man at last into conscious acceptance of his destiny.
Many today would doubt this, as they survey a world of cleavage and tension. The problems seem too complex, the divisions too extreme. But precisely then, at the moment of greatest need, comes the Teacher, ready to bring new Light. Such a One is now among you, waiting in the wings, patiently, for the invitation to serve.
Release the Light that He brings and enfold all things in holiness. Embrace His Teachings and bring succour to all in need. Manifest His Light and create anew this world.

More and more, the nations are beginning to recognize, to take seriously and to deal with, an age-old problem, namely corruption. In some parts of the world, corruption has been a way of life for centuries. This has benefited the few, of course, at the expense of the many. For untold ages, corrupt leaders and powerful politicians have waxed rich on the taxes imposed on their subjects and citizens. In modern times, the large corporations of the West have been found guilty of ‘cooking the books’ on a massive scale, while in the East it is taken for granted that every transaction needs the ‘greasing’ of someone’s palm.
Corruption is endemic, and runs through some societies from the president or prime minister to the police and sport. Electoral corruption is rampant, as recent elections have demonstrated, even in countries supposedly dedicated to freedom and democracy. Such corrupt governments fail and betray their peoples and so surrender their right to govern.
In the midst of such corruption is it possible to engender trust without which the future for men would be bleak indeed? Without trust, a fairer sharing of resources would be a forlorn hope. Without trust, the global decisions required to sustain our planetary home would never be taken. Without blessed and beneficent trust, men would forfeit their right of Stewardship of Planet Earth, and would seal themselves off for aeons from further evolution.
Thus would it be, and thus should men tackle seriously, and without delay, the corrosive impact of corruption on every strata of society, and every nook and cranny of our planetary life.
To help men to do this, you may be sure that Maitreya will be at pains to demonstrate to men the eroding effect of corruption in all its many manifestations. He will show that if men would become the Gods they essentially are, they must abandon the old ways of deceit and subterfuge. To tackle the serious environmental problems, He will explain, men must work together, in trust. Without trust, Maitreya will emphasize, little can be done. So steeped in corruption themselves are the leaders of the nations, that they trust no one.
Maitreya will show that men have but one choice to create the necessary trust: to share the produce of this bounteous Earth more evenly across the world, and so end for ever the starvation and poverty of millions, dying in the midst of plenty. Will the leaders listen to the words of Maitreya? For the most part, possibly, no; not at first. But soon the people everywhere will hear, and see the wisdom of Maitreya’s advice. They will say amen to His wise words and support His Cause. World public opinion will find its voice and its Mentor, and against its power the obstructive voices of the greedy dictators and corrupt politicians will fade. So will it be, and so will begin the cleansing and transformation of this world.

These articles are by a senior member of the Hierarchy of Masters of Wisdom. His name, well-known in esoteric circles, is not yet being revealed. Benjamin Creme, a principal spokesman about the emergence of Maitreya, was in constant telepathic contact with this Master who dictated his articles to him.
As time passes and we move further into a future full of extraordinary potential, each choice, each act and gesture counts now more than ever. People feel it. There is just ‘something’ about our times. We are on the verge of something momentous, something pivotal.
In his article ‘Let there be light’, Benjamin Creme’s (BC) Master writes: “Each century brings mankind closer to his goal: the demonstration, in all its perfection, of the Light of God.” Isn’t that amazing? We are beings of Light. He goes on: “Deep within each one of us dwells such a light, awaiting the opportunity to shine forth. Within each glows the potential of all Cosmos.”
Whatever your interpretation of the state of the world at present, however hard and brutal or full of goodwill and cooperation we make the world for each other, it is an incontrovertible fact that beauty, greatness and triumph into Light is the ultimate goal. And yet, right now, we seem to have driven ourselves to the brink of catastrophe in so many ways. Exactly by expressing as much of the Light in ourselves as we can touch, we lift ourselves and help to move the global community towards solutions that must work for all.
This is not to dismiss or gloss over possible future hardship and the very urgent need to stand for justice, for truth, for the rule of law. Silence is complicity; apathy allows tyranny to grow unchecked. Permitting ourselves to be distracted, letting the ‘bread and circuses’ policies of corrupt leadership entertain or confuse us, delivers the planet and our collective future into the hands of the power-hungry and greedy 1%.
‘The end of corruption’ is the title of the second article by BC’s Master featured here. What a revolutionary idea! At present it is so far from the norm that it is probably thought to be naïve. But, as the article points out, “In the midst of such corruption is it possible to engender trust, without which the future for men would be bleak indeed? Without trust, a fairer sharing of resources would be a forlorn hope. Without trust, the global decisions required to sustain our planetary home would never be taken.”
As trust, truth, basic freedoms, democracy and human rights are systematically and deliberately eroded by corrupt authoritarian leaders around the world, as the world’s electorate is encouraged to reject ‘the other’ and the outsider, Dr Bandy Lee explains pathology in leaders and the devastating effect the emperor’s madness has on the people, distracted, confused and roused to resentment and hatred. We know that ‘glamour is contagious’. We know that ‘group think’ exists and we experience how unrealities can be shared just as easily as facts are shared.
This month’s issue is also full of hope, with news of positive action on behalf of the natural world, but we see the need for action, determination to resist the negative and to notice ‘the writing on the wall’. We did not include more than this of George Orwell’s famous warning (from his book 1984): “War is peace. Freedom is slavery. Ignorance is strength.” But we do note that it was prescient and appallingly familiar. …
Orwell warned of a totalitarian state where the objective is to confuse, weaken and distract so that the authorities have an easy hold on the people through propaganda, alienation and surveillance.
One solution is humanity itself, at its best: “The world stands ready for more light. The peoples everywhere are thirsty for new knowledge of themselves and of God.”
We present here phenomena which, to the editors, are “signs of hope” and “signs of the time”. We undertake to be as thorough as possible in our investigation of each ‘miracle’ or ‘sign’ and present them for your consideration only. Further details, when available, are given in the captions to the photographs.
On the evening of 24 March 2025 at 9pm, in a village in the south of Sweden near the city of Lund, I stepped out of my house and noticed a rotating spiral in the skies above. I quickly alerted my wife and children to come outside and see this unusual phenomenon. They watched in disbelief. The spiral resembled the Norway spiral over northern Norway in 2009; I don’t know what this was but it was different. It rotated around a central point of light while also moving from a southern to a southwestern direction in the skies above. After about ten minutes it slowly faded away. There was no sound, no other moving lights nearby and the skies were clear. A large number of people from my village and the entire region of southern Sweden saw and photographed the spiral. It was reported both in the Swedish press and on Swedish television.
A lady who lives in the same village noticed the phenomenon around that time. She said that it started as a point of light and soon began transforming into a slowly rotating spiral which moved rather quickly in the southwestern direction.
The official explanation given was that it was the scattering of rocket fuel from a rotating SpaceX rocket launched at 7pm from Florida. The rocket fuel was supposedly visible, because it was shed at a high enough altitude to be irradiated by the sun.
I doubt that explanation, since every year there are about 200 rocket launches and this was only the second time ever that a spiral was visible over Sweden, and the first time ever over southern Sweden. The first sighting of a rotating spiral was in 2009 over northern Sweden – the famous Norway spiral. Before 2009, no rotating spirals in the sky had been visible, despite rocket launches being photographed and filmed extensively under a variety of weather and atmospheric conditions resembling the ones required to show up as a rotating spiral. To me, personally, these phenomena are created by some intelligence not of this Earth.

Share International has a large reserve of letters which were confirmed by Benjamin Creme’s Master to be genuine encounters with Masters, or a ‘spokesperson’, but which have not yet been published. We present one of them here.
I toured Europe with my twin sister in the summer of 1977. At one point I was on my own, taking the night train from Geneva to Rome. My twin sister was to follow me a day later, after retrieving her passport she had left somewhere the night before. Once in Rome, I met up with a Canadian traveller we had joined along the way, but I walked around the city alone that day. We found lodgings in a pensione on a piazza; I left my backpack and sleeping bag in the room and went down to walk around.
Outside, there was a band playing in a fenced-in area on the piazza; those outside the fence could hear and watch the music just as well. There were newly planted sapling trees among the paving stones. I stopped to watch the performance and noticed an elderly beggar woman standing about ten feet in front of me. She was very tiny and frail and dressed in rags. Her arms and lower legs were bare. Her one hand sweetly encircled one of the saplings and the sun shone through her white wispy hair so that it looked like a brilliant halo from behind. I felt overwhelmed with love for her. Later on, I saw her crawl into a garbage bag to go to sleep on the sidewalk under the overhang.
I returned to my room in the pensione. As nighttime fell, I felt overwhelmed again, this time with sadness. I stood at a window looking out at the lights of the yawning metropolis which rang with city sounds. I thought of that dear tiny beggar in her thin plastic ‘sleeping bag’, and about my own real bedroll among my things which had never been used. I considered going down to the street and giving it to her, but I had never been in a big city alone and felt afraid. I didn’t want to wake my Canadian friend about it, so I did nothing. Later on during our trip, my sister and I left our sleeping bags behind on a train for someone to find.
Around ten or so years later I was at a gathering of co-workers in New York. Benjamin Creme was holding court. Somehow I recalled my memory of the beggar woman to the group, and how I regretted not giving her my sleeping bag. Mr Creme looked at me with a gentle smile. "Do you know who that was?" he asked. “It was the Master Jesus”.
Share International has this month chosen to feature a small selection of informative comments by Benjamin Creme and his Master about women in society today, and the need for humanity to embrace its inherent unity within its marvellous diversity. As extremism grows and finds fertile ground for the spread of prejudice, injustice and hatred against women, minorities, people of colour and immigrants, it is surely time to take a stand for justice against brutality and cruelty.
Empowering Women
Q. Why do people discriminate? Why do men feel superior to women? Why do some races feel superior to others? Why do some social classes feel superior to other ones?A. The answer lies in the sense of separation — the great heresy — which so enthralls humanity. It is for this reason that Maitreya says [Message No.11]: “Firstly, men must see themselves as brothers, sons of the one Father. A. No doubt, some of them will. Women’s liberation is a manifestation of a very specific and serious Hierarchical intention. It is absolutely necessary that humanity realises that the male and female are in polarity. Energetically, both are necessary on the planet — not the domination of one by the other. The Women’s Liberation movement is Hierarchically inspired. It is, at the moment, slightly off-key, due to being led at present by women who have a somewhat neurotic hatred of men, forgetting that they themselves have been men over and over again throughout their incarnational experience. And so, perhaps understandably, they blame men entirely for their difficulties and their lack of freedom. Race, ethnicity and essential brotherhood
Mankind itself is beginning to sense itself as One; in this coming time it will be One. It is our next step forward in evolution. Brotherhood isn’t simply an ideal which we might or might not have. It is a fact in nature; only we haven’t manifested it yet. In this coming time it is our destiny, the Will of God, to manifest this fact. All the activity and guidance of the Hierarchy will be bent towards this end. This can only come through right relationship. Everyone should realize that, in their long incarnational experiences, most people have been members of every race, colour and religious tradition. Also, in humanity’s age-long wandering and intermarriage, there is no such thing as a pure race. When people really see and accept these facts, and when the principle of sharing is implemented, fear of the stranger, the foreigner, will go, and race hatred with it. A new book by Anita Mitchell, ex-wife of Apollo 14 astronaut Edgar Mitchell, has reinvigorated the UFO Disclosure issue so recently given new impetus by Dr Steven Greer, who, at the start of the year, submitted UFO/UAP Disclosure Executive Orders to the Trump Administration. In You Don’t Look Like an Astronaut’s Wife! she recounts many unusual experiences her husband and other NASA astronauts had while involved in their space programmes and as jet aircraft pilots.
Dr Edgar Mitchell was part of the Apollo 14 mission that took off from Cape Kennedy on 3 January 1971 and was the sixth man to walk on the moon. He was also a highly experienced US Navy pilot with a doctorate in aeronautics and astronautics from MIT (Massachusetts Institute of Technology). In 1966, he joined the NASA Astronaut Corps, and, in 1970, he worked at the Johnson Space Centre in Houston during the infamous Apollo 13 mission. An onboard explosion involving an oxygen tank occurred on that flight, which meant the spacecraft was nearly lost on its approach to the moon. Mitchell helped to devise procedures which enabled the crippled craft to return to Earth, for which he received the Presidential Medal of Freedom.
Anita Mitchell reveals some of the secrets her astronaut husband shared with her before his death in 2016. “He always felt there were UFOs out there because so many NASA pilots and astronauts have seen something.” According to the author, during America’s early space programme, several of her husband’s crewmates, including fellow Apollo astronaut James McDivitt, saw ‘strange craft’. She also mentions Project Mercury astronaut Leroy Gordon Cooper Jr: “At a dinner in our home, Gordy told us that he had ‘seen something’”. Cooper (Gordy) told the Mitchells: “Listen, we have nothing that goes that fast and goes that high.” He had clocked up thousands of hours in jet aircraft and was among the first pilots to participate in the space agency’s Mercury and Gemini projects. Despite his extensive experience, she recalls Cooper acknowledging that pilots, like himself, simply could not catch these extraordinary craft when they attempted to chase them. Having heard so many firsthand accounts, she also shares her husband’s view of the UFO phenomena, saying: “Do you really think we are the only intelligence in the universe? Because if we are, the universe is in trouble.”
In 1973, shortly after retiring from NASA, Dr Mitchell founded the Institute of Noetic Sciences, which sought to reconcile the world of conventional science with metaphysics; researching, for example, psychic and paranormal phenomena such as ESP (extrasensory perception), telepathy, meditation and alternative healing. He spent much of his life exploring these esoteric realms of science and, of course, the existence of extraterrestrial beings. In 2009, he publicly urged the US government to release classified information about the reality of UFOs. At the time, he told The Guardian, “We are being visited. It is now time to put away this embargo of truth about the alien presence. I call upon our government to open up… and become a part of this planetary community that is now trying to take our proper role as a spacefaring civilization.”
This brings the whole story, recollected here by the author, back to how it all started. In the mid 1990s, Dr Greer introduced Dr Mitchell to the UFO project. The Apollo astronaut attended many of Greer’s early conferences and they jointly organized high-level briefings at the Pentagon.
In October of 1997, at what was called The Prophets Conference, Mitchell made a statement following a presentation given by Greer regarding technology and efforts to brief government officials on the UFO phenomena. Being the ‘sixth man on the moon’, Associated Press picked up the story and published his statement, giving it national and international recognition. He said: “The so-called ET technology, the ability to have silent engines and flying machines that make no sound, flying machines that have the characteristics that are consistent with reproduction of UFO sightings, are not in any nation’s arsenal, but they do exist. So if there are back-engineered technologies existing, they are probably in the hands of this group of individuals, formerly government, formerly perhaps intelligence, under private sector control with some sort of oversight by military or by government. But this [oversight] is likely no longer the case as a result of this ‘access denied’ category that is now operating. I call it a clandestine group. The technology is not in our military arsenals anywhere in the world, but it does exist, and to me that’s quite disconcerting.”
Both Mitchell and Greer showed great determination in exposing this clandestine operation despite the equally covert campaigns to ridicule them and obfuscate the information. To that end, they collaborated, for many years, with high-level government and military intelligence figures who would be open to the possibility of a classified UFO programme existing. …
Anita Mitchell describes how unifying early space exploration was. It transcended geographical, cultural and political boundaries, if only for a brief, awe-inspiring moment. “It pulled the world together in a way nothing else ever has. … They sent back that incredible picture taken from the moon of Earth. We all saw our planet in a new way. No matter who you were, when you saw that tiny blue and white marble, knowing it was our home, it was humbling, and it united us.” She continues: “Today, it almost feels like the Apollo days again, only bigger. It’s an exciting time to be alive and witness it all.”
This new “exciting time” of space exploration and our own planet’s future, it would appear, will not be defined and constrained by an obsolete, 20th-century technology, long past its expiry date. If the Disclosure Movement is correct in its assessments based on an overwhelming body of evidence, then Space exploration will be superseded and driven by an altogether different form of ET technology — one that, at present, lies hidden behind an ‘open secret’ only accessible to a very select few, though becoming increasingly visible to the many.
Benjamin Creme used to say — quoting Maitreya, the World Teacher — that commercialization is more dangerous than an atomic bomb. Invisible Doctrine echoes this, defining neoliberalism as an ideology whose “central belief is that competition is the defining feature of humankind. It tells us that we are greedy and selfish, but that private enterprise will light the path to social improvement, generating the wealth that will eventually enrich us all” — the so-called trickle-down effect.
The authors say that neoliberalism “casts us as consumers rather than citizens”. It valorizes the individual over society, and its espousal over the last 40-odd years has led to “rising inequality, child poverty … the degradation of public health, education and other public services”. It is essentially Piscean* in nature, with its idealization of the individual — an idealism that denies the Aquarian* truth that we are all linked, all part of a whole.
Neoliberalism believes that if the state seeks to change society through public spending and social programmes it will foster laziness and dependency. However, as the authors trace throughout the book, although neoliberalism has succeeded very well in promulgating its world view, in fact it has failed — spectacularly. Trickle-down has not happened. Moreover, it has inflicted devastating harms on both human society and the living planet. But its propaganda effect has been enormous. …
Invisible Doctrine describes and challenges the prevailing neoliberal ideology that promotes:
- Individualism not Community
- Competition not Co-operation
- Consumerism not Citizenship
- Profit not Public Spending
This book is an informed, rational, well-evidenced diatribe against capitalism and its worst expression; the authors trace how the wealth of West has been at the expense of the colonies (a still ongoing scandal) and the wealth of the few has been at the expense of the many. For 40 years, “neoliberalism has been on the side of employers and the very rich”, and in the UK and the US, neoliberalism has colonized all politics. President Bill Clinton of the Democratic Party in the US announced that the era of ‘big government’ was over, and Prime Minister Tony Blair of the Labour Party in the UK espoused the Third Way, which looked like neoliberalism with a kinder face.
And from the 1980s, inequality between the rich and the poor grew within the rich countries, reflecting the gap between the rich and the poor nations. In the UK, wages have stagnated while the cost of living has soared. And the newly elected Labour Party in the UK has disappointed its supporters by not raising money by taxing the very rich and by following more or less the neoliberal policies of pursuing economic growth at all costs. As the authors point out, growth should not be an aim in itself; where money is spent is what is important.
Monbiot and Hutchinson are good at writing directly and quite simply in telling their story of the harm that neoliberalism has done to our wellbeing (that of humanity and the planet) over many years. It has promoted “extreme self-interest and egocentricity and a broad trend to more authoritarian politics” (see the moves against immigrants in countries where they were previously welcome). Now “only 20 per cent of the world lives in fully free and democratic societies”.
Neoliberalism has made people more in-turned and isolationist. But the authors insist “our psychological and economic welfare depends on our connection with others … we stand together, or we fall apart”. …
So far, those opposing neoliberalism have not succeeded in presenting a new Restoration story. The authors put forward their own — the Politics of Belonging. That is, a new way of belonging to counter the growth of the fascism that also appeals to the need to belong. The new story when “disorder afflicts the land” has new heroes — ‘the common people’ who will fight the nefarious forces by “building rich, engaging, collaborative, inclusive, and generous communities. In doing so, we will restore harmony to the land.”

* Esoteric astrology speaks of astrological cycles of around 2000 years, each bringing in specific energies. The Piscean age was inaugurated by the Christ in Jerusalem and its main energy was individual idealism. The new age of Aquarius, which we are entering now, is essentially that of group consciousness, with a much more ‘down to earth’, practical energy.
The concept of mental fitness in leadership has never been more critical than it is today. As the world faces a multitude of ever deeper crises — from political instability to public health emergencies — recognizing the qualities that define a fit leader is not just a civic responsibility, but a matter of survival. Dr Bandy Lee, a forensic and social psychiatrist, President of the World Mental Health Coalition and an internationally recognized expert on violence, has dedicated her career to educating the public about the importance of psychological fitness in leadership, framing it as a public health and safety issue rather than a partisan concern.
Dr Lee’s work spans decades and disciplines. She has taught at Yale School of Medicine and Yale Law School, designed and led the Global Health Studies course ‘Violence: Causes and Cures’, and served as a consultant to organizations such as the World Health Organization and UNESCO. In 2019 and again in 2024, she organized major National Press Club Conferences centered on the theme, ‘The Dangerous State of the World and the Need for Fit Leadership’, bringing together experts from psychiatry, law, political science and more, to discuss the urgent need for mentally fit leaders in times of crisis. Her most recent book, The Psychology of Trump Contagion: An Existential Danger to American Democracy and All Humankind (2024), explores how unfitness in a leader can spread throughout society, leading to what she terms a “mental health pandemic” or a “shared psychosis”, a phenomenon where a group adopts the delusions or pathological behaviors of a dominant individual, whereas the group or individuals that comprise it had otherwise no prior history of mental illness.
Dr Lee lays out a clear context for understanding what makes a leader fit for office: a leader’s psychological health, moral character, and capacity for collaborative, rational decision-making are all essential for the survival and flourishing of societies. According to Lee and the experts she collaborates with, fit leaders exhibit sound judgment, emotional stability, empathy, and a commitment to truth and the common good. They are able to withstand the pressures of power without succumbing to delusions or abuses, and they foster environments where intellectuals and journalists are protected rather than suppressed.
Conversely, unfit leadership can have devastating consequences. Lee explains that when a leader’s pathology is allowed to spread unchecked, it accelerates societal destruction, suppresses dissent, especially among journalists and intellectuals, and erodes the foundations of collective well-being. This dynamic is already evident in the US, where efforts to control the press, media, and academic institutions can be seen as an effort to reshape reality and undermine democratic norms. Mental unfitness at the top, Lee argues, translates into dysfunction throughout an administration, with decisions that are often the opposite of what is needed for the public good.
