From the inception of Share International magazine, Benjamin Creme’s Master provided an article every month for nearly 35 years. These were intended to be published not only at the time they were written, but also whenever appropriate according to world circumstances.
When, as now, man is at the crossroads, awaiting guidance on which direction to take, he sets up an invocative cry for help. Inevitably, when the cry has reached a certain pitch, We, your Elder Brothers, respond and answer. Thus is it today as men flounder wildly in the chaos of their own making, afraid to take the only steps which will save them from further chaos.
Into this maelstrom Maitreya is about to enter, fully aware of the task which lies ahead. Only a Being of His immeasurable wisdom could accept such a burden. Only someone of His incomparable courage could undertake such a task.
Out of the anarchic conditions of the present must He construct the new and better order. Out of the agony of millions must He fashion a new world.
Who is there to help Him in His work of salvage?
Who would rally to His cause and aid their brothers and sisters?
Now, as never before, is the opportunity to serve a world in labour, a new world waiting to be born.
Maitreya seeks to lift man into his birthright. He seeks to inspire the creation of a new and happier world. The Great Lord seeks to invest each individual life with sanctity and worth. He seeks to rid the world of violence and war.
Where will He find His helpers? Who are ready to respond? Who have the courage to aid the Lord of Love? He knows already those on whom He can depend. Make ready to see Him. Burnish bright your resolve. Be not dismayed by the immensity of the task. Be simple and heartfelt in all you do. Maitreya approaches, fast, on a shining white steed. His mantram is: fear not!
All, in time, will be renewed.
All, in time, will be returned to the Light.
Consider this: “Take your brother’s need as the measure for your action, and solve the problems of the world. There is no other course.”
Into your unhappy world now steps Maitreya. He knows your agony and suffering better even than you do yourselves, for He knows, too, the joy which is your birthright.
That joy would He restore to you in full and perfect measure. For that is He among you.
Take Him to your hearts and let Him serve you. Know Him as your friend and Brother of Old. Let Him guide you and teach you; thus will you grow in your divinity.
The time has come when you shall see His face. His smile of love will beckon you to His side. You will find your love magnified a thousandfold and, giving it in service to His Cause, enter into the Plan of which you are a part.

These articles are by a senior member of the Hierarchy of Masters of Wisdom. His name, well-known in esoteric circles, is not yet being revealed. Benjamin Creme, a principal spokesman about the emergence of Maitreya, was in constant telepathic contact with this Master who dictated his articles to him.
In response to the Russian invasion of Ukraine we have collected questions, answers and insights which we hope will be of comfort, of practical use and reassurance in these bleak times. Although this material is not new, its particular relevance now, we believe, justifies its reprinting.
Share International has a reserve of unpublished letters which were confirmed by Benjamin Creme and his Master to be genuine encounters with Masters, or with a ‘spokesperson’.
It was about 1.30am, on 8 December 2009. I went to bed and noticed a soft, white light slowly moving on the wall, gleaming gently like a luminescent creature in the sea. When I saw the same light a few days earlier, I thought it might be a car headlight or something coming through the curtain from outside. But this time it was changing its shape from ellipse to cross, then from cross to ellipse as it moved. And, just as it came to a photo of my old cat that had died a few months before, it became a small, bright cross of light on the photo. It was so bright that I could clearly see the cat’s picture. Then the light disappeared.
Could you please tell me what it was?
In September 2008, I had been to my dentist and was on my way home. I walked across a central park, where the city library is located. In the middle of the park there is a fountain and lots of benches for visitors to rest and enjoy the beauty there. I had done some shopping after the visit to the dentist and my feet were aching.
There are often homeless people sitting on the benches. This time, I saw two or three men. When I had passed them by, I stopped for some reason and turned around. One of them was a very big man with many bags around him and a cap in front of him. I went back, took a little money from my wallet and put it in his cap. The man smiled, nodded a ‘thank you’ to me, then looked me straight in the face. Energy from him hit me powerfully. At first, I was confused, but then I felt fine; so fine that I literally kept smiling for several days after. The sense of well-being lasted about a week. I have seen this ‘big’ man twice since then.
One evening in August 2009 while in England, I was driving with a friend towards Colchester in Essex. As we approached the town, the still-light sky was filled with many huge crosses made of clouds – too many and too close to be aeroplane trails. My friend, who is sceptical about such things said: “I’ve never seen anything like it. Ah, it must be Maitreya.” I said nothing. Although we are old friends, she shows little sympathy towards what I know to be true. But I did wonder if some Being had caused them?
We present here “signs of hope” and “signs of the time” which have not been confirmed by Benjamin Creme’s Master. We present them for your consideration only since we unable to verify their ‘miraculous’ nature.

The object eventually flew out of sight, according to the witness. (The object resembles images of Maitreya’s Star published in previous issues of Share International) (Source: mufon.com)
We present a selection of quotations on the theme of ‘brotherhood and unity’. The quotations are taken from Maitreya (Messages from Maitreya), Benjamin Creme’s Master (A Master Speaks Volumes One and Two), and Benjamin Creme’s writings.
Advice, insight, deep wisdom and comfort may be drawn from these articles, all written by Benjamin Creme’s Master — a Master of Wisdom, One who has experienced every joy and sorrow a human being can know.
The wonder is that Maitreya and the Masters always turn disaster into achievement, destruction into something life-affirming, and what may look like an abyss into a mountain top. We, humanity, have a part to play in this, taking our responsibility to choose the common good.
When the time comes to count the cost, men will be amazed at, and ashamed of, the waste of war. More than any other activity of men, war eats greedily into resources and lives. Nothing is spared in the effort to overcome the ‘enemy’; everything is sacrificed to the attainment of victory. Thus has man waged relentless strife against his neighbour, and not always in self-defence. As often as not, war has been used for the expansion of territory, the accumulation of plunder or, most abhorrently, the capture of slaves. The ‘spoils of war’ is a phrase used lightly to describe the underlying purpose of most wars.
Today, we have reached a time when men must take seriously the task of ending war. Men must understand that there is no problem or situation which needs war to solve or cure. This being so the nations must together act and end for ever that destructive aptitude of men.
Should they fail to do so, they threaten the very existence of the race. Peace is no longer an option for men: they have now in their hands the deadliest weapon of all time which, if used in major war, would desecrate the planet and leave it lifeless for aeons of time. Why, then, court such disaster, such an end?
Maitreya, you may be sure, will speak thus on His emergence. He will show men that small wars can lead to terrible consequences, and set men on the slippery slope of self-destruction. He will counsel gravely and turn men from the unthinkable. Be vigilant but not afraid; trust Maitreya to wisely guide the actions of men. Play your part in the task of educating your brothers and sisters and so make lighter His burden.
Tell all who will listen that the Expected One is here, ready to begin, openly, His Mission. That He relies on the men and women of goodwill to work with Him for peace and justice, freedom and love. Tell them this. Tell them that Maitreya has the simple answer for the world’s woes. That sharing will engender the trust that will open the door, and the hearts of men, to blessed peace.
Then will you see the flowering of the human spirit in brotherhood and co-operation. Then will the problems and blockages melt away, overcome in overflowing goodwill.
Thus will it be, and thus shall we witness the end of the abomination of war. Such is Maitreya’s purpose and firm is His will for its accomplishment.

Whenever men make a determined step into right relationship, there are always others who make an equally determined step into confrontation. Multitudes work, and even die, for greater freedom and justice; while other forces threaten the peace in cynical attempts to consolidate their diminishing power. Meanwhile, humanity at large watches and trembles, witnessing with fear a renewal of ancient hatred thought to be discarded and overcome.
We, your Elder Brothers, too, watch carefully this dangerous ploy, but fear not. Common sense, We know, will force the acceptance of at least a precarious peace, with gains and losses balanced, more or less.
From now on this scenario will be repeated across the world, where the ‘great powers’ attempt to maintain or to even increase their power, knowing, however, that they must do so carefully without damaging the status quo.
For how long can the nations play this useless game? The only sensible course is to work together for peace and prosperity for all. Only in this way will they ready their peoples for the joy of peace, the prosperity of justice, and the bliss of sharing.
(Share International, June 2014)
The time for men to make their historic choice has arrived. Soon, men will come to realize that they must make a momentous decision, one which will determine the future for every man, woman and child, indeed the future for every living creature on Earth: a choice between continuous and ever expanding creativity on planet Earth, or a devastating ending of all life, human and sub-human, on our planetary home.
Man, unfortunately, has discovered the secret of the awful power which lies hidden in the nucleus of the atom and has harnessed it for war. While humanity is so separated by competition, greed and lust for power, the danger of extinction, by accident or design, is ever present. Men must therefore find a safer way to live.
So potent today is the individuality of men and nations, so divided have they become in their struggle for life, that they have lost their way and must quickly find it to survive.
Thus the Great Ones, your Elder Brothers, have sought to show the only way to peace. Only sharing and justice, We say, will bring the peace which, in their hearts, all men desire. Simple indeed is Our recommendation but, so far, difficult for humanity to grasp. Men have divine free will and are the masters of their fate. Take, We advise, the path of sharing and justice which are the garments of Brotherhood, without which a man is not fully a man.

“Much has been written and much has been dreamt about the Count of Saint-Germain, this mysterious character who astonished Europe during the second half of the 18th century,” wrote Paul Chacornac in the introduction to the biography, The Count of Saint-Germain.
One thing is certain, this extraordinary character did exist in the 18th century. He was in contact with the main leaders of the European court: Louis XV and his favourite, the King of Prussia, Frederick II, the Landgrave of Hesse, ambassadors, ministers, the best salons [high society cultural gatherings with piano, singing and tea and so on in the 18th century]. Numerous writings attest to his existence and influence.
The following quotes present the Count of Saint-Germain as he was perceived at the time.
Gazette of the Netherlands, dated 12 January 1761: “The so-called Count of Saint-Germain is an incomprehensible man of whom nothing is known: neither his name, nor his origin, nor his position; he has an income, no one knows from whence it is derived; acquaintances, no one knows where he made them; entry into the cabinet of princes. …”1
Voltaire wrote to Frederick the Great of Prussia: “This man who never dies, and knows everything.”2
HP Blavatsky said of him: “A living mystery”, “A gentleman of magnificent talents and education, and the possessor of ample means to honestly support his standing in society. He claimed to know how to fuse small diamonds into large ones, and to transmute metals, and backed his assertions by the possession of apparently unbounded wealth and a collection of jewels of rare size and beauty. Are adventurers like this ?. … The treatment that the memory of this great man, this pupil of Indian and Egyptian hierophants, this proficient in the secret wisdom of the east, has had from western writers is a stigma upon human nature.”3
“The Comte de Saint-Germain was certainly the Greatest Oriental adept Europe has seen during the last century.”4
Landgrave Charles of Hesse wrote: “He was perhaps one of the greatest philosophers who ever lived. A friend of humanity, wanting money only to give it to the poor, a friend also of animals, his heart was concerned only with the happiness of others; he believed that he could make the world happy by providing it with new pleasures, more beautiful fabrics, more beautiful colours, at a much lower price. … I have never seen a man with such a clear mind as his, with such erudition, especially in ancient history, as I have rarely found. He had been in all the countries of Europe, and I know of almost none, where he had not made long stays. He knew them all thoroughly, and had been often in Constantinople and Turkey. France, however, seemed to be the country he loved most.”5
…
Landgrave Charles of Hesse
In 1779, at the age of 88, Saint-Germain insisted on meeting the Landgrave, Charles of Hesse. The reluctant Landgrave resisted, but eventually invited him to his home in Schleswig-Holstein. Saint-Germain “spoke to him of great things he wanted to achieve for mankind … of the embellishment of colours … of the improvement of metals. … There is almost nothing in nature that he did not know how to improve and use. He entrusted me with almost all the knowledge of nature. … I made myself his disciple.”5
Saint-Germain died on 27 February 1784 and was buried in Eckenförde, Germany. When his grave was opened later, it was empty.
