Over many years Share International magazine has published regular
articles by a Master of Wisdom. Far from being mystical or remote, the
Master often addresses the immediate problems facing humanity. His latest
article ‘America adrift’ analyses the results of the US election, giving
insights into the future difficulties which the American people will face.
He shows that the balance of power in the world is undergoing profound
change and explains that “the world is turning away from the dominance of
American power and wealth, and charting another path to fulfil its destiny”.
Following the article Benjamin Creme writes about Yasser Arafat and answers
questions about the US Presidential election and other world affairs.
America adrift
It is only a matter of time before the people of the United States
realize that they have made a grievous mistake. They have reinstated, albeit
with the aid of many stolen votes, a man and administration dedicated to the
creation of division and hatred, both nationally and internationally.
They will ruefully watch an attack on their proudly held freedoms; they will
see a steep decline in their standard of living as the government, of
necessity, strives to tackle their enormous debts; they will witness a loss
of confidence in their currency and a sharp reversal of trade with their
traditional trading partners. The calamitous invasion of Iraq will continue
to fester, both in Iraq and elsewhere in the world. Reacting to the fear and
hatred which this administration has engendered almost universally, the
tendency will be for the people to look inwards, and to turn their backs
even more squarely on the world.
Illusion
A major problem in dealing with this administration is the powerful illusion
under which it works: that it is God-inspired and so in divine Grace,
helping to restore the Christian world and message to its former power and
glory. Thus has the USA taken a huge step backwards, isolating itself from
the true concerns of much of the world: environmental pollution and the
demands of a planet suffering under the strain of impending disaster.
The United States will find that the world will not stand still. With or
without American co-operation the nations will proceed as best they can to
deal with the many ecological and social problems which beset us, and which
so urgently must be addressed. America will find itself left behind and
ignored, and only then will it be prepared to ‘lead’ the way.
Rhetoric
This administration is, even now, relishing its victory, and weighing the
pros and cons of subsequent action. Thwarted and taken unawares by events in
Iraq, it must pause awhile before considering further violence. But the
bravado and rhetoric will doubtless continue, hoping to bully and conquer by
threats alone. Meanwhile, great changes in many countries are under way,
leading to a profound shift in the balance of power in the world. China and
India, South America and Russia, are finding their feet and economic
potential. Africa is beginning to receive, at last, the concern and goodwill
of powerful governments and agencies, and can look forward to better times.
Thus the world is turning away from the dominance of American power and
wealth, and charting another path to fulfil its destiny.
If the United States insists on its right of unilateral action, it will find
itself neglected and ignored in international plans and projects, its
economy will further decay, and its people will lose confidence and trust in
government action. Without friends, and with ebbing strength, it will be
forced to change, and to renew dialogue with its former friends.
The emergence of Maitreya will speed the process of this transformation and
assure its welcome completion.
Yasser Arafat, 1929-2004
Benjamin Creme writes:
A great man of our time has died, great, yet abused by his enemies, and
misunderstood even by his friends. He was a man of vision and extraordinary
courage and optimism, an inspiration and father-figure for nearly half a
century to the oppressed people of Palestine.
He has been the target of the implacable hatred of Mr Sharon for decades,
and the Israeli propaganda machine has accused him of every manner of
mistake, misdeed and mishandling of opportunity for peace. The mud has stuck
and he is seen, even by erstwhile friends, as a ‘flawed’ President.
He was nothing of the kind. He was invited to and attended, as did the late
King Hussein of Jordan, the three-day Conference which Maitreya held for
over 300 people in London in April 1990. Since then, he worked under the
immediate inspiration and guidance of Maitreya Who told him, again and
again, not to accept an agreement which is unjust. Every agreement put
forward has been unjust, and, being unjust, would not have lasted.
I quote from my Master’s article, ‘A time of decision’, from Share
International, May 2002:
“… Israel, meanwhile, stung into action by suicide bombings, as always
overreacts, using as excuse “a war against terrorism” to impose its will. In
the shameless persecution and humiliation of Mr Arafat, Israel’s leaders and
army should take no pride. The people of Israel, more than most, should
understand the agony of the oppressed….”
Questions and answers from Benjamin Creme
(from Share International magazine)
Yasser Arafat
Q. Could you please give the ray structure and point of evolution of
Yasser Arafat (1929-2004), President of the Palestinian Authority?
A. Soul: 6; Personality: 4 (sub-ray 6); Mental: 1 (sub-ray 4); Astral: 6
(sub-ray 6); Physical: 3 (sub-ray 7).
Point of evolution: 2.4 degrees initiate. In terms of spiritual development
Yasser Arafat was the equivalent of former US President John F. Kennedy
(PoE: 2.4) and more advanced than Mahatma Gandhi (PoE: 2.0).
Q. Was Yasser Arafat poisoned?
A. No, he died of a broken heart
Q. Was Yasser Arafat foolish not to accept the peace plan proposed by
former President Ehud Barak of Israel?
A. No. It was not a fair or just plan. Barak claimed that the Palestinians
were offered 90 per cent of the West Bank territories whereas, in fact, they
were offered 42 per cent of the West Bank area plus Gaza. Even then the West
Bank would be covered with Israeli settlements, each of which would be
defended with an Israeli garrison. Roads connecting the settlements would
therefore provide fast communication for the Israeli army, thereby cutting
up the so-called Palestinian areas into pieces remote from each other. It
was hailed as “most generous”, “perhaps too generous”, by the Israeli
propaganda machine. In fact it was a travesty of justice. (SI June 2002)
Q. Chairman Arafat was reported to be in high spirits during the
course of the siege. His doctor visited him there and proclaimed him to be
in good health despite the extraordinary stress he was under for a man of
his age. (1) Did Maitreya give the Chairman and his colleagues trapped in
their headquarters a special protective blessing? (2) Has Maitreya had any
further communications with Chairman Arafat since 1988? (3) Has Maitreya
appeared to the Chairman recently? (SI March 2003)
A. (1) Yes. (2) Yes. (3) Yes.
Palestine
Q. Many people in the media seem to believe that Sharon’s Gaza ‘pull-out’
policy is a genuine move towards peace. Your comment please?
A. I do not share that belief. I think the exodus of 8,000 Israelis from
Gaza is seen by them as a bargain ‘quid pro quo’ for hundreds of thousands
of Israelis in huge and continuing settlements in the West Bank, which was
to be the Palestinian homeland. Now, only a fraction remains to the
Palestinians as a viable home, and no curb on the building of Israeli
settlements has been imposed.
Another dishonest US election
Q. (1) Does the final outcome in the US Presidential election
accurately reflect the preference of those who voted, or (2) was there any
corruption or manipulation which might have changed the outcome? If so, (3)
which side cheated more? (4) If the results were ‘fixed’, by which methods
was it done?
A. (1) No. My information is that there was much cheating. (2) Yes, Kerry
should narrowly have won Ohio and Florida and the Presidency. I am afraid it
is the same old story, more expertly performed this time. (3) The
Republicans. It seems that cheating by Democrats was minimal and only on a
personal basis, but cheating by Republicans was pre-planned and widespread,
especially with the new electronic machines. (4) Pre-programmed electronic
voting systems and various other methods, cruder but just as effective —
delayed postal votes, double voting, non-counting of votes, and more. Of
course, the marginal (swing) states like Florida and Ohio were targeted and
the machines were programmed to change every fifth vote for Kerry to a vote
for Bush. However, even without ‘stolen’ votes, Bush, like Gore last time,
did in fact decisively win the popular vote, which I personally prefer as a
record of democratic public opinion.
Q. In view of the very suspect election results in the US could your
Master please say how many Democrat votes were illegally blocked by one
means or another?
A. 2.5 per cent.
Q. Will the outcome of the US elections polarize society both in the US
and abroad even more than it is already?
A. Yes, for a time. Eventually, and relatively soon, Maitreya’s hand and
energies, especially those of the Spirit of Peace and Equilibrium, will make
their presence felt more strongly, and unexpected and welcome changes will
take place worldwide. This is not the end of the world.
Q. Do you think Osama bin Laden timed his video precisely because it
suits his purposes to have Bush in the White House?
A. Yes.
Iraq
Q. A study by researchers at the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of
Public Health (Baltimore, USA), published in UK medical journal The Lancet,
has shown a huge increase in Iraqi civilian deaths since the March 2003
US/UK invasion. Most of the dead were women and children, and most died as a
result of violence — the great majority in coalition air-strikes. The study
estimates the number of civilian deaths attributable to the war as 100,000.
UK foreign secretary Jack Straw, however, has estimated civilian deaths at
10,000, and the UK-based Iraq Body Count estimates between 14,000-16,000. In
Share International September 2004 you gave the figure of 25,000 as at 29
June 2004. (1) Is the US researchers’ current figure of 100,000 accurate?
(2) Were their research methods reliable?
A. (1) Reasonably. My information is that now 88,000 civilians have been
killed in Iraq. (2) Yes, the method of research is the most accurate
available but covered only 350 small centres over most of Iraq. The more
centres which could safely be covered would add to the accuracy.
South America
Q. South America has succeeded in electing three left-wing leaders,
unlike America. Do you think it could lead to really useful co-operation and
a new chapter in social reform and improved living standards for South
America in general?
A. Yes. Profound changes are taking place, and will continue to do so, in
South America and elsewhere, which are quite separate and distinct from
events in the USA. These will change the meaning and appearance of the
‘leadership of the free world’ by the USA which will be seen more and more
to be tackling only old problems in old ways. Unless the USA grasps the
challenge of change in a speedily changing world, it will be bypassed and
left behind by countries undergoing positive change of their own, leaving
the USA isolated and strong — but impotent.
Share International — background information
For 30 years artist, author and lecturer Benjamin Creme has been
preparing the way for the biggest event in history — the emergence of
Maitreya the World Teacher and His group. Millions of people around the
world have heard his information and wait expectantly for this momentous
event.
Since 19 July 1977 Maitreya has been living in the Asian community of
London, gradually emerging before the public. Long awaited by all faiths
under different names, Maitreya is the World Teacher for all people,
religious or not.
Maitreya’s ‘roving ambassador’ Benjamin Creme travels the world spreading
his message of hope and creating a climate of expectancy for Maitreya’s
emergence. Trained and supervised over many years by his own Master, with
whom he is in constant telepathic contact, Benjamin Creme has access to
up-to-date information on Maitreya’s emergence, giving him the total
conviction needed to present this story to a sceptical world.
As a modern man concerned with today’s problems, Maitreya works behind the
scenes of our changing world. The outpouring of His extraordinary energy has
been the stimulus for dramatic developments on many fronts: the ending of
the cold war; the break-up of the Soviet Union; the unification of Germany;
the ending of apartheid in South Africa; the growing power of the people’s
voice, leading to demands for freedom and justice; and the worldwide focus
on preserving the environment.
Outwardly Maitreya has met with influential leaders from all fields,
informing them of His solutions to our pressing problems. His message can be
summarized as: “Share and save the world.” He has not come to found a new
religion but as an educator in the broadest sense. He will seek to inspire
humanity to see itself as one family, and to create a civilization based on
sharing, economic and social justice, and global co-operation.
For those who seek signs of His coming, Maitreya has manifested miracles
worldwide, touching the hearts of millions and preparing them for His
imminent appearance.
With Maitreya and His group working openly in the world, offering Their
guidance and teachings, humanity is assured not only of survival but of the
creation of a brilliant new civilization.
According to Benjamin Creme, we do not have long to wait to see Him. Soon,
Maitreya will be interviewed on major US television and His open emergence
will begin.
Creme regularly lectures worldwide, and appears on television and radio — in
the USA alone he has been interviewed on more than 300 radio and television
shows. He is author of 10 books — translated into 11 languages — and is
editor of Share International magazine which circulates in 70 countries. He
receives no money for any of this work. Benjamin Creme offers a positive
view of the future — a message of hope for the world.
