Dozens of UFO sightings were reported in April 2004 over Iran. State television showed a sparkling white disc which it said was filmed over Tehran on 27 April. UFOs were observed emitting green, red, blue and purple rays over the northern cities of Tabriz and Ardebil and in the Caspian Sea province of Golestan, the official IRNA news agency reported. Newspapers and news agencies reported people rushing out into the streets in eight towns on the night of 27 April to watch a bright extraterrestrial light moving in and out of the clouds.
