It has come to our notice that more and more people are receiving our information from the website alone, and thus forgoing the small cost of subscribing to Share International magazine.
Not everyone can, or does, use the internet, and it is essential to have an outer, physical expression, which can display with photographs, the events of which we speak. That means there has to be a magazine, which of course requires a lot of work from volunteers, and a lot of money to produce. There may be a notion that Hierarchy dishes out money for this work, but it is not the case. Subscriptions to Share International are an essential part of maintaining our work and reaching the public. The cost of the subscription is kept as low as possible, the magazine is not subsidised by advertisements and printing and postal charges are mounting all the time.
Surely we would all agree that all those who seriously believe in this work would want to support the magazine, whether or not they read the information on the internet.
Thank you for your support.
Since the inception of Share International magazine, Benjamin Creme’s Master has provided articles to be published not only at the time they were written, but also whenever appropriate according to world circumstances.
As the simple snowdrop breaks through the snow and heralds the coming spring, so do the people everywhere make known their demands for justice and peace, and an end to a long winter of thraldom and tyranny. The people’s voice is rising, imperious to be heard. It is the harbinger of the new time, the new dispensation, struggling to be born. Despite, nay, because of the plans and actions of dangerous men, the people are throwing off their ancient yoke and claiming their right to be heard. A new urgency and a new confidence invests their claim with power. The power of the people’s voice breaks through the age-old bondage and points the way to the future. More and more, the people are realizing that the role of government is to dispense the needs of the people, that there is no problem or difficulty in which war is the only solution. The sour voices of power-hungry leaders may, for the moment, seduce the fearful or unwary, but their time is limited, is drawing to a close.
A new time is in the making — of justice, freedom and peace. In this coming time the peoples of all the nations will see fulfilled their dreams and hopes of a better life: of meaning and purpose, of beauty and understanding, of right relationship and love. Each day will bring a new discovery, inner and outer, each hour an opportunity to serve. Thus will it be, and thus will each man, woman and child glorify the divine in all of us, and show in all its variety the many-sided beauty of God.
When Maitreya emerges, He will seek to canalize the aspiration of countless millions who sense these truths but cannot give them voice. In Him will they find a spokesman, eloquent and severe as circumstances require; through Him will they find their needs made known, the needs of all for a just and peaceful world.
This process is already under way. At marches and demonstrations, where the people call for justice, peace and sanity, Maitreya may be found in one or other guise, playing the part of the people and speaking in their name. His energy of love pervades these gatherings of the just and inspires them to further effort. His strength becomes theirs and they feel undaunted and sure. In this way, the Lord of Love is turning the tide of hate, is potentizing the ardour of millions, and is finding that the people everywhere are aware of their destiny and are seeking the means to implement their heart-felt desires.
[This article from Share International magazine, April 2016 , is by a senior member of the Hierarchy of Masters of Wisdom. His name, well-known in esoteric circles, is not yet being revealed. Benjamin Creme, a principal spokesman about the emergence of Maitreya, is in constant telepathic contact with this Master who dictated his article to him.]
Q. New movements such as the Occupy Movement, Podemos in Spain, Syriza in Greece and the popular following enjoyed at present by Bernie Sanders in the US and Jeremy Corbyn in the UK – what is the role of such movements in preparing the way for Maitreya?
A. It shows Hierarchy the extent of our readiness for the New Dispensation, the coming changes. Not all will like these changes, but it really is a new dispensation.
Q. Was Maitreya present at the large anti-Trident (nuclear submarines) demonstration held on 27 February 2016 in London, when tens of thousands demonstrated against replacing Trident?
Q. There has just been a breakthrough at the Advanced LIGO laboratories in the US in proving the existence of gravitational waves as predicted by Einstein’s General Theory of Relativity. Was Einstein right? Is this an important discovery?
A. Einstein was certainly absolutely correct. Yes, it frees the mind. There is already a growing new view of “Space”.
Q. The Syrian ceasefire is fragile but miraculously seems to be holding. Did Maitreya have a hand in bringing the ceasefire about?
A. Maitreya has a hand in many positive developments in general.
Q. On Tuesday 23 February 2016 a co-worker and myself attended an event in a chapel in Clapton, north London, run by the People’s Philosophy, Politics and Economics Group. The subject was ‘The Hitchhiker’s Guide to Economics’ and economists Ann Pettifor and Yanis Varoufakis gave talks, as well as a local Imam. The venue was packed with 1,000 people, all ages and backgrounds. There was a great atmosphere with people keen to explore new ways of organizing fairer economics and asking many questions to the panel. Were there any Masters present at the event?
A. Yes, Maitreya Himself was present.
Q. Is there any truth in the theory that the Zika virus can be sexually transmitted?
Q. Some scientists said, at the beginning of this year, that there may be another planet in our solar system, a large planet that is very far from the sun (further than Pluto). Does this planet really exist?
Q. Will the Day of Declaration be combined with a major or minor landing by the Space Brothers? If it was co-ordinated in this way, it seems that it would give the Day a greater impact upon humanity.
A. I don’t believe it will be like that.
Q. Thank you and your Master for a most wonderful article, ‘Welcome to the New Time’, in the January/February 2016 issue of Share International. It is uplifting, inspiring, moving and comforting. It made me even more determined to do whatever I can to spread your information.
A. Thank you. Keep up the good work!
Over a number of years, some of the Masters, in particular Maitreya and the Master Jesus, have appeared at Benjamin Creme’s lectures. They also appear, in different guises, to large numbers of people around the world. Sometimes they use a ‘familiar’, a thoughtform, who seems totally real, and through whom the Master’s thoughts can be expressed: They can appear as a man, a woman, a child, at will. Occasionally They use the ‘blueprint’ of a real person, but in most cases the ‘familiar’ is an entirely new creation. More recently the Masters also work through their spokesmen and women and representatives. Accounts of such experiences are regularly received by Share International magazine and, if authenticated by Benjamin Creme’s Master, are published.
These experiences are given to inspire, to guide or teach, often to heal and uplift. Very often, too, they draw attention to, or comment on, in an amusing way, some fixed intolerance to, for example, smoking or drinking. Many times the Masters act as saving ‘angels’ in accidents, during wartime, earthquakes and other disasters. The following letters are examples of this means of communication by the Masters.
On 12 March 2016 I gave two lectures in the Amsterdam Information Centre; the first was attended by 24 people, six or seven of whom were new to the information about the Ageless Wisdom Teachings (Blavatsky, Roerich, Bailey, Creme). Fifteen people came to the second lecture about Maitreya and the Masters of Wisdom.
At the end of the first lecture an elderly black man entered the Centre. Just as I was about to show a last video sequence of Benjamin Creme he said, “Benjamin Creme is a prophet of our time!” He said that he had seen a discussion programme on the internet between politicians, scientists and religious leaders and that they had said that Jesus Christ will be back on Earth soon. But he emphasized that he himself could not be quite sure whether this is true because only God really knows when this moment will be. During the break between the lectures he came over to me and repeated these sentences. He told me that he himself is not a prophet but sometimes has prophecies in his dreams about Jesus. He was a Christian but had also a Jewish lineage. He looked straight at me and asked me what I believe in. He repeated what he’d said and made the same statements again as he left. Was he perhaps a spokesperson?

On the afternoon of 4 February 2016 I was walking down the sidewalk in Menlo Park, California, after shopping at a market, when I saw a woman coming towards me from about half a block away. She was attractive and somewhat nicely dressed. When she was still some distance from me she asked me if I could give her a dollar to buy a coffee. When she came closer I could see that some of her teeth were missing as she was wearing a big smile. As I was opening my purse to give her some money she said that what she could really use was $20 to buy some food. I gave her a $20 bill. As she took the money she smiled broadly and thanked me. She followed this by giving me a long firm kiss on the cheek and saying that she loved me. I said I loved her too. As I moved away to continue down the street she spoke to me as I stepped away and said, I mean I really love you. Later I realized that the woman did not have anything with her, no coat, no purse or bag that is usual with those on the street who seek financial assistance. The sense of her kiss on my cheek lasted quite a long time as did the lovely nature of the experience.

On the 16 and 17 February 2016 we organized a lecture about Maitreya and the Masters of Wisdom as well as a workshop about Transmission Meditation. Both events took place at the University in Hamburg, Germany. We thought that at the most 90 participants would attend the first lecture and possibly 40 people the Transmission Meditation. So we booked the necessary space. On the first evening surprisingly the room was full with far more people than we had expected before we started the lecture and many more people tried to get in. We were happy about the numbers but at the same time felt uncomfortable because of the lack of space. At that moment a tall, dark, young man came into the room. He had a beautiful and very calm radiance. As he walked into the room he said something like, “It’s better not to be too rigid in one’s thinking.”
Just as a few people wanted to leave the event, the concierge came in and sponta-neously offered us the lecture auditorium. All the participants were delighted and we moved over. We counted at least about 125 people, but during the lecture still more people came in. On the second day the same thing happened. Instead of our expected 40 people, 81 took part in the Transmission Meditation. Our workshop room was packed and our speaker was almost pressed against the presentation wall with only an arm’s-length between them and the audience. Despite these circumstances both events went well. The atmosphere was relaxed and pleasant, and the participants were attentive and interested.
For us this experience was overwhelming and very motivating and we all thought about the Master’s and Benjamin Creme’s words that more and more people will be interested in our information and that we have to prepare ourselves properly! (1) Did we receive help from Maitreya and/or the Masters that in the end everything went so well? (2) And were the young tall man and the concierge perhaps someone special?

Four letters from the Information Centre in Amsterdam:
We had advertised and distributed flyers for the Transmission Meditation Workshop to be held on 28 January 2016 at the Information Centre at Amsterdam. We were tired and when at 8pm no one had arrived yet, we were quick to put our coats on when a few minutes later a young woman entered. She seemed very determined to stay, although she was the only one. She had seen the flyer and was happy to have discovered Transmission Meditation. That’s all she wanted to do – to serve the world. Her name was Tatiana. She watched the DVD about Transmission Meditation, had no questions, “No, she just wanted to transmit – it was all clear.” She said she would return. She did a few days later – also on an evening when we were all tired (it had been a very busy period). Everyone else left at 9.30 but Tatiana didn’t move. We finally stopped and left together sometime after 10pm. As far as we know she hasn’t been back since. Was she a visitor sent by a Master?

On 28 February 2016 we had organized a lecture with the title ‘The Gathering of the Forces of Light’ in the Information Centre of Share Nederland in Amsterdam. To be honest, we expected a small group who are all familiar with the information, so we started around the fairly small table in the front part of the room, but very soon we found ourselves taking out more chairs and moving to the middle part that has a bigger table. Among the participants were two Muslim women. When they came in one of them wanted to know what the title of the lecture was. At one point one of the Muslim women said that she had the feeling even more chairs may be needed because more people would be coming. How right she was, because we ended up with all in all 23 people.
A few had read about the lecture in a flyer and four women, the Muslim women included, had heard about it from a visit to a Share Nederland stand at a Health fair in Utrecht (a city in the centre of the Netherlands). The Muslim women listened with interest to the lively exchange during and following the lecture, sometimes asking a question or making a remark. One of the two women was quiet, the other was more outgoing and she went to talk to various participants after the lecture.
We are wondering whether they were spokeswomen? If it turns out that they were just interested women, it will not in any way lessen our pleasure that they came to the lecture at the Information Centre.

On 3 March 2016 the Transmission Meditation Workshop was due to start at 8pm. When, about 15 minutes later, no one had arrived we talked of clearing things away and going home. Just then we noticed someone hovering near the front door, as if hesitating to come in or go away. After a few minutes a woman who looked to be of Surinamese descent came in. She apologized but she had got lost on her way. She followed the workshop with interest. It appeared that she did not know anything about this meditation or Maitreya and the Masters of Wisdom. She had picked up a programme book about the Information Centre. What struck us about this woman was that she was completely herself, with no pretence at all.
We were pleased she had come. May we ask whether this woman was perhaps ‘someone special’?

We recently had a panel discussion (which was filmed for further possible use) which was well-attended. The atmosphere was relaxed, pleasant and upbeat. Four people (two women and two men) from Surinam who said they’d never heard of our information listened with real focus. But one of the men, who said he did Raja Yoga, interrupted with very apt questions or comments right from the start. He said that when you identify with the self then you can feel oneness with everything. Everything he said or asked led the conversation on to the next important bit of information.
Was the man a spokesperson?

Walking on the pavement sometime around the summer of 2015, heading towards the center of the town where I live, a young man in his 20s came walking in the opposite direction. Something about his demeanour was slightly odd, he gave me the impression of being a bit ‘cranky’. With his one arm he was carefully holding onto a big round ball, and as he came closer and was about to pass me, he gave me a mysterious, secretly knowing and happy smile, lifted the other hand gently and pointed his index finger towards the sky. I smiled back at him and got a lovely joyful feeling from his appearance. Later it suddenly struck me that he reminded me of the beautiful painting of John the Baptist by Leonardo da Vinci.
Was he someone special?

On 7 March 2016 devotees at the Sri Premananda Ashram in Trichy, Tamilnadu, India, celebrated Mahashivaratri. To their surprise and delight, at 6.30pm a lingam miraculously appeared in front of Sri Premananda’s statue which for months has been covered in vibhuti (holy ash). Swami Premananda died in 2011, but these miraculous manifestations continue to happen at His Ashram.
Members of the Ashram who were present report: “Another two lingams were noticed at 2.30am during the night. At four in the afternoon of 8 March, we saw that another three lingams had appeared in the temple.”

Compilation - an extract
We present a selection of quotations on the theme of ‘The human family’. The quotations are taken from Maitreya (Messages from Maitreya the Christ and Maitreya’s Teachings – The Laws of Life), Benjamin Creme’s Master (A Master Speaks and Share International), and Benjamin Creme’s writings.
The time is coming, My friends, when the Light of Truth shall shine all around you, when man shall take his brother to his heart and know him as himself. Let Me lead you, My friends, into that blessed state. (Maitreya, from Message No.51)
[Humanity] will find that central to Maitreya’s thought is the concept of Oneness. Men must, He will assure them, see themselves as One, each part of a united Whole – the human family – and that all that they do must reflect that Oneness. The present failure to appreciate this reality, He will contend, is responsible for all our difficulties and troubles, our disharmony and fears, our conflicts and wars.
“See your brother as yourself,” says Maitreya. Create an International Storehouse from which all can take. Only thus, by Sharing, can the world be renewed, is His Teaching. Only by Sharing, He will affirm, will men find the happiness they seek. Sharing alone will bring Justice and Peace. (Benjamin Creme’s Master, from ‘The Oneness of Humanity’, SI July 2008)
The Masters of the Wisdom are those members of the human family who have made the evolutionary journey ahead of us; who, having perfected themselves, by the same steps by which we advance, have accepted the responsibility of guiding the rest of us to that same achievement. They (or Their predecessors) have been behind the whole evolutionary process, guiding and helping man, through a gradual expansion of consciousness, to reveal, sequentially, his innate Divinity, and to become, like Them, Divine, perfected or illumined Beings. (Benjamin Creme, The Reappearance of the Christ and the Masters of Wisdom)
We see all men as One, brothers and sisters of one great family. Men need, likewise, to banish from their hearts the sense of separation, and to rediscover the reality of brotherhood which lies at the heart of the human condition. Men, all men, are potential Gods and needs must create the conditions in which they all can flourish. We will help you to do this, gladly, when you take the first small step in that direction. That first step is not difficult nor fraught with risk. You have nothing to lose and your divinity to gain: that first step is called Sharing. (Benjamin Creme’s Master, ‘Help is needed – and offered’, Share International September 2006)
When you share, you create trust because you have expressed love. Sharing is the expression of love. In a family they share all the resources according to the needs of the family. The sense of being one family is very much overdue in this world. By sharing you create the trust which allows you to trust other people. If you show trust, you receive trust. By sharing what you have with others, it creates that trust without which no major decisions will ever be made. Without trust there will never be a consensus on the overriding problems which concern this world, which can only be met internationally.
In fact, Maitreya has said that everybody – every man, woman and child – must see the upholding of the planet itself as the number one priority in the world. All must take part. (Benjamin Creme, The Art of Co-operation)
Firstly, men must see themselves as brothers, sons of the One Father. This is essential if they would progress one step nearer the Godhead. Throughout the world there are men, women and little children who have not even the essentials to stay alive; they crowd the cities of many of the poorest countries in the world. This crime fills Me with shame.
My brothers, how can you watch these people die before your eyes and call yourselves men? My plan is to save these, My little ones, from certain starvation and needless death.
My plan is to show you that the way out of your problems is to listen again to the true voice of God within your hearts, to share the produce of this most bountiful of worlds among your brothers and sisters everywhere. (Maitreya, from Message No.11)
If we do not give up competition we will destroy the world. Humanity has to understand that we are interdependent, brothers and sisters of one humanity; also that humanity is a force in the world which has to obey certain rules. These rules are inborn in us from the soul level. When we express ourselves on the soul level we obey the rules. (Benjamin Creme, The Art of Co-operation)
Humanity is still evolving in consciousness, together, as One. Advancing together, each race and sub-race adds some new quality to the whole. The process of repeated incarnations ensures that gradually, each individual inherits the new knowledge and awareness of the epoch. If men truly understood the complexity and beauty of this process, gone for ever would be the dislike and distrust, the ‘racism’ of today. Men would realize that, in truth, they are brothers; journeying together on a seemingly endless voyage of self-discovery.
When We, your Elder Brothers, work more openly, you will find that this truth is central in Our understanding of man’s nature and relationship. The human family is the nourishing base of our lives. In it we learn to co-operate and thus create together, fashioning the rich tapestry of our shared identity. (Benjamin Creme’s Master, ‘Man’s essential Brotherhood’, Share International Jan/Feb 2011)
When you see Me you will know why I have come, for I shall appeal to you in these terms: “Save My little ones. Feed your brothers. Remember that mankind is One, children of the One Father. Make over, in trust, the goods of the Earth to all who are in need. Do this now and save the world.” (Maitreya, from Message No.31)
Soon, the impact of Maitreya’s ideas will begin to be seen. Already many, worldwide, respond to His influence, directly or otherwise. More and more, the impact of His thought will clarify the tangle of interests which today take ‘centre stage’ in public debate, and the needs of every man and family will emerge as the central core of humanity’s problems.
Even now, in many countries, there is emerging a new sense of the need to rethink everything, root and branch, and the concepts of sharing, justice and fairness are growing apace. As the scope of Maitreya’s appearances widens, these ideas can only be expected to flourish and grow. (Benjamin Creme’s Master, ‘Maitreya speaks’, Share International April 2010)
I am with you in many ways: I am with you as Maitreya, the Leader of My group of Masters. I am with you as the Embodiment of that Divine Force which you call the Christ Principle. I am with you as your Brother of Old, as the Eldest of our family. (Maitreya, from Message No.20)
The Day of Declaration will be the signal for that new start for Planet Earth. On that day without precedent, men will experience the Oneness of which Maitreya speaks. They will sense that all humanity is undergoing the same experience. They will feel a humble pride in being one of a huge family of brothers and sisters whose hearts are beating together in a love altogether new. This sense of belonging together will embrace them and bring tears of long-forgotten joy to each and every one. (Benjamin Creme’s Master, ‘The Oneness of Humanity’, Share International July 2008)

by Gerard Aartsen
Not only do we find many corroborations of Benjamin Creme’s statements about the etheric nature of UFOs in the accounts of many contactees, but mainstream science, too, is edging ever closer to acknowledging the reality of the Teachings.
When the first measurements of the temperature on Venus came in in 1958, George Adamski was quickly ridiculed for his assertion that his contacts hailed from that and other planets in our solar system. He was not alone, though, in maintaining his claims: physicist-contactee Dino Kraspedon (pseudonym for Felíx Aladíno), researcher-contactee Wilbert Smith, journalist-con-tactee Bruno Ghibaudi, and contactees Howard Menger and Buck Nelson all said, more or less publicly, that the spacecraft and their occupants originate from within the solar system, mainly from Mars, Venus, Saturn and a few other planets.
And although hardly anyone has since placed the origins of the visitors from space within our own solar system, to this day Benjamin Creme states categorically: “All the planets of our system are inhabited…” but, he adds, “if you were to go to Mars or Venus you would see nobody because they are in physical bodies of etheric matter.” This underscores what Howard Menger was told in the 1950s: “…if an Earth man in physical body could go there he probably would not see some of the life forms which vibrate more rapidly than his own – no more than he can see the spiritual life forms in and around his own planet. Unless his physical body were processed and conditioned, he could not see the beings on another planet.” Reversing the same notion, George Adamski also said that the space people “can place their mind in a high frequency state that causes their body to become invisible to our limited range of vision”.
The concept of the etheric planes of matter is crucial in this respect. The Master Djwhal Khul has said that the etheric body “is the true form to which all physical bodies in every kingdom of nature conform” and that “life itself, the training to be given in the future, the conclusions of science and a new mode of civilisation will all increasingly be focussed on this unique substance”.
Mr Creme says that, “unless one understands the reality of the etheric levels of energy as finer, subtler, levels of matter, one cannot begin to understand the UFO phenomenon....” The principle of spacecraft becoming visible by lowering the rate of vibration of their atoms, or disappearing from our sight when they return to their original state, is really not very difficult to understand when his space contacts explain to Chilean contactee Enrique Barrios: “If a bicycle wheel turns rapidly, you can’t see the spokes. We make the molecules of the ship move rapidly.”
Flying saucer photographed near Trenno, Italy by G. de L., one of hundreds of such photographs taken of extraterrestrial craft by participants in the Amicizia (Friendship) case of contact that started in 1956.
The fact that the craft of the visitors from space are in etheric physical matter precludes the possibility that anyone is abducted for gene harvesting, hybrid breeding, implanting devices, and other atrocities that the scare-mongering crowd accuses the visitors of. In fact, Benjamin Creme says: “Nobody is ever taken up in a spaceship in a physical body. It is impossible. These spaceships are not solid physical. To be taken up into a spaceship you have to be taken out of the dense physical body and you go in the etheric into the spaceship, which are in themselves etheric. It is still physical, but etheric physical.” Interestingly, this process of being taken out of the (dense physical) body was explained to Howard Menger by his hosts: “We projected the beam on you to condition and process your body quickly so you could enter the craft. What actually happened was that the beam changed your body frequency to equal that of the craft.”
The accounts of various contactees also present tacit evidence of their having been taken out of the physical body, as they testified to a heightened state of awareness once they were on a ship. Giorgio Dibitonto, for instance, writes about the experiences he had in 1980 in his book Angels in Starships: “The light within this wonderful ray-ship produced an effect on us which I was unable to explain. We felt freshened and renewed, and all our spiritual energies rejoiced in an indescribable sense of peace. At the same time, we found ourselves in a state of well-being which changed us and awakened all the sleeping powers within us. We felt keenly receptive to all that might be imparted to us by words and images. Our hearts burnt with an all-inclusive love, such as is rarely felt on Earth.”
The American contactee Orfeo Angelucci, too, seems to give some impression of what it must feel like once one is in this ‘unearthly’ state: “The interior was made of an ethereal mother-of-pearl stuff, irridescent [sic] with exquisite colors that gave off light… There was a reclining chair directly across from the entrance. It was made of the same translucent, shimmering substance – a stuff so evanescent that it didn’t appear to be material reality as we know it… As I sat down I marveled at the texture of the material. Seated therein, I felt suspended in air, for the substance of that chair molded itself to fit every surface or movement of my body. As I leaned back and relaxed, that feeling of peace and well-being intensified.”
The similarities of Angelucci’s descriptions with those of other contactees are striking. For instance, Dibitonto writes: “The central room was illuminated with light that seemed to come from all directions, as no single light source was to be seen.… An unaccustomed empathy prevailed; we were all flooded with this same unearthly light, and with an energy that was more spiritual than physical.” George Adamski described the interior of a disk as follows: “Within the craft there was not a single dark corner. I could not make out where the light was coming from. It seemed to permeate every cavity and corner with a soft pleasing glow. There is no way of describing that light exactly. It was not white, nor was it blue, nor was it exactly any other color that I could name.” Likewise, the interior of a mothership was described by Adamski as a “familiar bluish-white diffused light and the same kind of glassy translucent metal walls.”
The existence of planes of matter above the three that our current science recognizes is not new to students of the Ageless Wisdom teaching. According to these teachings, there are four levels of physical or subtle matter above the solid, liquid and gaseous – known as the etheric physical planes of matter, which consist of sub-atomic particles at various frequencies, just as the molecules of ice, water and vapour vibrate at different frequencies.
Meanwhile, science is still grappling with this expanded reality, even though Swiss astronomer Fritz Zwicky already proposed ‘dark matter’ in the 1930s as a working hypothesis for the 96 per cent of the known universe that science cannot account for, but which astrophysical calculations about the mass of the universe predict. However, several trailblazing scientists have made discoveries which all point in the same direction as a (partial) explanation for ‘dark matter’ or ‘dark energy’.
For instance, Semyon Kirlian’s technology to record the energy fields surrounding living entities was later further developed to photograph human auras. And in his article ‘The Discovery of the Orgone’, Austrian doctor Wilhelm Reich quotes the German biologist Kammerer, who wrote about “an energy which is neither heat, electricity, magnetism, kinetic energy (...) nor a combination of any or all of them, but an energy which specifically belongs only to those processes that we call ‘life’. That does not mean that this energy is restricted to those natural bodies which we call ‘living beings’...” Through experiments Reich subsequently established that the orgone radiation, as he called this primordial life force, permeates everything.
Dense physical forms are the precipitation of the ‘blueprints’ that exist on the etheric physical levels, which is not so esoteric a notion any more since British biologist Rupert Sheldrake posited the idea of “morphogenetic fields” – a sort of memory bank from where Nature retrieves its various solid physical forms. This should also make it easier to understand that Life is not solely dependent on dense physical forms for its expression – it could express itself in etheric physical forms too, as indeed it does on the other planets in our solar system, according to the Teachings and the accounts of several contactees.
In March 2015 the ‘avant garde’ scientific ideas pursued or proposed by Kirlian, Reich and Sheldrake which, according to Benjamin Creme, point to some aspect or other of the etheric planes of matter, almost stealthily gained confirmation when mainstream science reported findings which “suggest that dark matter is another kind of sub-atomic particle, possibly forming a parallel universe of ‘supersymmetry’ filled with supersymmetrical matter that behaves like an invisible mirror-image of ordinary matter”.
Therefore, when we read scientific assertions that there is no life on the other planets in our solar system, we would do well to add “… on the dense physical planes of matter”.

Interview with Bruce Kent
by Gill Fry
Bruce Kent, former Roman Catholic priest and former Chair of the Campaign for Nuclear Disarmament (CND) has campaigned for nuclear disarmament and world peace since the late 1950s. Born in London in 1929, ordained as a priest in 1958, he has worked with dozens of peace organizations including War on Want, Pax Christi, the Campaign Against the Arms Trade, the United Nations Association, and the Movement for the Abolition of War.
Gill Fry interviewed Bruce Kent at his home in north London, for Share International.
Share International: What first inspired you to get involved with peace campaigning?
Bruce Kent: I was working in a parish in Kensington in 1959 and saw the second Aldermaston March against nuclear weapons go past the church on Easter Monday. What [later] really moved me was a Jesuit Archbishop who said: “If it’s wrong to kill hundreds of thousands of innocent people, it’s wrong to threaten to kill hundreds of thousands of innocent people.” So I came in on a moral point of view, and didn’t know much about the politics, but I thought he was talking sense.
SI: After the Second World War, who were the first countries to obtain nuclear weapons?
BK: The Americans had them first and used them on Hiroshima and Nagasaki and then there was a rush. There was the Baruch Plan in June 1946, which involved everybody agreeing not to get nuclear weapons if the Americans would get rid of theirs. But the Americans really had no intention of getting rid of them and the Soviets rejected the plan.
In 1946 when Clement Attlee was Prime Minister the Labour Foreign Secretary Ernest Bevin wanted nuclear weapons “whatever the cost”. That’s exactly the way it’s gone ever since. So then the French, the Chinese, and Israel sometime in the 1950s, got nuclear weapons, then Pakistan, India and North Korea. But out of the 196 countries in the world, 140 countries had a meeting in November 2015 in Austria determined not to have nuclear weapons and to get rid of the ones that already exist.
SI: Is there a chance of the Non-Proliferation of Nuclear Weapons Treaty being fully enacted?
BK: Article V1 of the Non-Proliferation Treaty of 1968 calls on the nuclear powers to get rid of nuclear weapons. The treaty is badly entitled Non-Proliferation; it is actually the Nuclear Disarmament Treaty, but it was part of the deal at the time because the nuclear powers were happy to say “we don’t want any more proliferation”, but had no intention of getting rid of their own weapons.
I think there is a very good hope today, and this country is well placed to do something about it, because we are in the position where we have to decide to either spend an absolute fortune – something like £150 billion to replace Trident [the UK Trident missile is a submarine-launched ballistic missile] and continue with it for 30 years – or decide it is not worth it because they don’t defend us anyway. There is a great opportunity, especially among young people, who are not impressed by the old Cold War arguments.
If people today are choosing between housing, education or health for expenditure, they’re not going to choose nuclear weapons. “Spending on nuclear weapons,” said Pope Francis, “squanders the wealth of nations.… When these resources are squandered the poor and weak, living on the margins of society, pay the price.”
SI: Is there a strong connection between groups working for the peace movement, the anti-nuclear movement, and the developmental groups?
BK: The international peace movement consists of about 600 organizations. The gap is not between the peace movement and CND, but between the peace movement and the development agencies, like Oxfam and Christian Aid. These groups do not like to have disarmament on their agenda; they always say that because of their charitable structures, they can’t deal with another issue, because it risks losing money and their charitable status. But I say, they don‘t have to deal with it, but they do need to acknowledge it. For example, at the recent Climate Conference in Paris, war and disarmament were not part of the agenda.
SI: Is there a way that all of these groups could unite in one strong voice?
BK: I think it is like an orchestra. I play the trombone and you play the fiddle but we make a tune between us. For me to tell the trombonist you’ve got to play the piano is stupid. The real problem is not that there’s confusion between the organizations, but that 80 per cent of people aren’t engaged in anything like that. The real job is to mobilize the public. The end product is some wonderful music.
SI: How effective is the power of marching and demonstrating?
BK: The bulk of the work of changing people’s minds goes on in classrooms, churches, mosques, on the streets, people discussing the issues and raising these points. Demonstrations are the photogenic edge of the whole thing, like the recent march in London [27 February 2016] when we had 60,000 people [demonstrating against the renewal of Trident]. That’s evidence of campaign strength, but that strength doesn’t just come from demonstrations, it comes from people who have been reading, thinking, talking, debating, praying; a change of consciousness. So the demonstrations aren’t the beginning and the end of it.
SI: Do you think that all nuclear power stations should be decommissioned?
BK: I do, but I don’t make it my campaign. I know the two things are closely linked. In this country the first nuclear power station was a great triumph for nuclear energy, but it was built to make plutonium for bombs. Personally, I think nuclear power stations are expensive and dangerous and a waste of money, but they are not created in order to destroy people, they are created to produce energy.
Nuclear weapons are made to destroy people, and the accidents with these weapons are not known about enough. With 20,000 nuclear weapons in the world, we don’t know when another incident might happen. Over the years we’ve had people on drink and drugs in charge of the nuclear button.
We owe our existence to a man called Stanislav Petrov, a former observer for the Soviet Union, who in 1983 was in his bunker at a high time of tension (in the President Reagan era) when he thought he saw five missiles coming from the West to the East. His duty was to tell the Russian leader Yuri Andropov in Moscow about the five missiles coming over. If told, Andropov might well have fired missiles back, which could have meant World War III. Half the people in Petrov’s bunker were telling him to tell Moscow, and half were saying don’t. This one man had all that responsibility and he didn’t do it. Then, after 40 minutes, it became clear that what they thought were missiles were, in fact, a very unusual cloud formation.
Tens of thousands took part in the anti-Trident missile protest in London, 27 February 2016.
SI: Some people argue: “But what about the terrorists? We need nuclear weapons to protect ourselves.”
BK: Nuclear weapons do nothing whatsoever to protect us from terrorists. You have got to have a target or territory to make nuclear weapons even sensible. Terrorists don’t have a target, and the ones we are dealing with seem perfectly happy to go to paradise as soon as possible, its part of their doctrine. So how do you threaten someone with instant death if they want to go to paradise? It’s not logical. It’s so tied up with British nationalism; we’re British and we’ve got to have what everybody else has.
If it were really protecting the country, I wouldn’t care what it cost, but it doesn’t, it makes us more vulnerable. Look at the number of occasions when we actually had a military conflict, nuclear weapons had no value whatever.
And then people in favour say: “We are only talking about stopping them using nuclear weapons on us.” Unless [a regime] is completely mad they wouldn’t be using nuclear weapons on us in the first place, because they breathe the same air as we do, so if you pollute the planet you are polluting your own back yard.
SI: How relevant is the United Nations in creating world peace?
BK: The UN Charter, signed in 1945, begins: “To save succeeding generations from the scourge of war.” That was the aim of the UN to start with. The UN Charter and the Declaration of Human Rights are very important, yet they are hardly known about today. The Declaration of Human Rights is a kind of Ten Commandments globally of what citizens ought to be able to get, and is marvellous.
SI: Does the Security Council have its limitations?
BK: I think the veto applied to five countries is completely anachronistic. If they failed to agree, as they failed to agree over Korea, then the General Assembly should have a right to take a decision. Each country, big or small has a vote. It does present some problems, but that’s what the Charter said. Why Andorra should have the same votes as China I don’t know, but in general elections in the UK it’s one person, one vote, and not a question of I’ve got a bigger family than you, so I get more votes.
SI: What do you think of Pope Francis?
BK: I think he is an absolute wonder; he is a miracle. Pope Francis has breathed in fresh air and it’s remarkable. On his first trip out of Rome he went to Lampedusa to see the refugees, which is very significant.
He has also spoken about nuclear weapons and got rid of the distinction between the intention and the use of nuclear weapons. “These things are evil,” he says. That’s very important because Pope John Paul said you can keep them as long as you’re progressing towards disarmament. That was wonderful music to the ears of the nuclear powers, and they all said: “Yes, we’re all progressing towards disarmament,” so that left the door wide open.
SI: Do you believe in the power of prayer?
BK: I think it is enormously important. I don’t mean petitionary prayer; “Please God do this”, but being aware of the enormity of life and that you are a part of it. Accepting the whole incredible Cosmos of what you’re in and tuning yourself into this wider and much more important body.
I think we get so preoccupied with what we’re doing, and just existing, and who loves us and who doesn’t love us. To meditate, to sit back and look at the world and think of the wonders of which you’re a small part, that’s what I call prayer.
SI: What advice can you give to volunteers and peace campaigners trying to put pressure on governments for change?
BK: Everybody can put their own bit of pressure on. But I go to a meeting and everyone is moaning about nuclear weapons and I say: “How many of you have written a letter to your local paper in the last month? And only one or two hands go up.” You have to act.
It is like climbing Mount Everest. You don’t climb it all at once, you take a stroll over the first field, put your tent down, do another climb the next day. If you’re always looking at the top of Mount Everest you’ll never get there. You have to plan to move forwards, and once you’ve got a bit further forward, then other possibilities appear, and you can do other things, and meet other people on the same journey. Things will happen because you help them to happen, even if it is a small thing. But if you’re sitting always looking at Mount Everest, nothing will happen. It is hard work and there’s always something to do. You lose friends and you gain friends and you won’t be rich! But you have to do what you can do.
SI: Do you have hope for the future?
BK: Absolutely. I am hopeful. When you think of all the awful things that have been done in the world in the past that are now completely unacceptable, we have moved forwards. I am optimistic, and I don’t think God created the world to blow it all up. I also believe that there’s much more good than bad in the world.
In this section, we review developments and opinions which demonstrate that there is an increasingly powerful undercurrent sweeping the world in the direction of synthesis, sharing and co-operation, of new relationships and new approaches.
Moderate and moderately conservative candidates in Iran made major gains in the country’s February 2016 elections at the expense of hard-line conservatives. The hard-liners, who opposed last year’s nuclear deal with world powers, lost control of parliament to those who supported the agreement. Moderates also won a majority in the 88-member Assembly of Experts, an influential body that has the authority to appoint and dismiss the country’s supreme leader.
Iranian President Hassan Rouhani said the outcome of the elections shows that the Iranian people want an end to confrontation with the outside world. “People said in a clear voice to the world: ‘We want moderation, not extremism.’ And they said in a loud voice: ‘We want interaction with the world, not confrontation.’” (Source: BBC; Associated Press)
At a recent meeting in Brussels titled ‘Women refugees and asylum seekers in the EU’, former Irish president Mary Robinson delivered a powerful address championing the need to empower women globally. She emphasized in particular the need to engage women at the grassroots level: women must be allowed to participate meaningfully in the design, planning and implementation of policies and programmes that impact on their lives. Ensuring women’s voices are heard and their needs acted on is central to advancing climate justice.
Climate change exacerbates existing patterns of inequality, including gender inequality. Mrs Robinson pointed out that the gender dimensions of climate change are not well understood despite the reality that the majority of those on the front lines of poverty and climate change are women. The impacts of climate change are different for women and men.
“To realize the ‘leave no-one behind’ approach called for in the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development and the commitment ‘to reach the furthest behind first’, grassroots women must be recognized as key actors in global sustainable development,” said Mrs Robinson. Sustainable Development Goal 5 (‘Achieve gender equality and empower all women and girls’) includes a target to “ensure women’s full and effective participation and equal opportunities for leadership at all levels of decision-making in political, economic and public life”.
“Grassroots women around the world hold a wealth of knowledge which we will need to manage the impacts of climate change and accelerate sustainable development,” said Mary Robinson. (Source: IPS)
In what is being hailed as a major scientific breakthrough in regenerative medicine, scientists at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center, North Carolina, have created the first ear, bone and muscle structures capable of maturing into functional tissue when implanted in mice. Early results of the study indicate promise for use in humans.
To remedy failed attempts to produce sustainable laboratory-grown body parts with cells larger than 2 millimetres in size, the research team created a new technique for printing tissue engineered with micro-channels, akin to a sponge, allowing nutrients to penetrate the printed tissue. Upon implantation the host’s own body eventually grows blood vessels to replace the micro-channels in the tissue.
The team used an Integrated Tissue and Organ Printing System (ITOP) developed over the past 10 years. This highly sophisticated device uses a supportive bio-degradable plastic in combination with a water-based gel that contains living cells and supports their growth. As blood vessels and nerves grow into the implants, the plastic is broken down and replaced by a natural matrix of proteins.
The senior author of the study, Dr Anthony Atala, director of the Wake Forest Institute for Regenerative Medicine (WFIRM), says “this novel tissue and organ printer is an important advance in our quest to make replacement tissue for patients. It can fabricate stable, human-scale tissue of any shape. With further development, this technology could potentially be used to print living tissue and organ structures for surgical implantation.”
In response to the study, Professor Martin Birchall, a surgeon at University College London said, “Given the scale of this breakthrough, progress in other fields, the resources available to the researchers at Wake Forest and the imperatives for human health, I think it will be less than a decade before surgeons like me are trialling customized printed organs and tissues. I can’t wait!” Study results were published in the journal Nature Biotechnology. (Source: pri.org; redorbit.com)
