by the Master , through Benjamin Creme, 11 June 2011
When the history of this unique time is written, men will realize, perhaps for the first time, how important, how central, have been the recent events in the Middle East. In an astonishing six months, following the example of the people of Tunisia and Egypt, the inhabitants of many Middle Eastern countries, subdued, and locked into centuries-old tribal dictatorial regimes, have risen and demanded their right to freedom and democracy, to social justice and work. What media call ‘the Arab Spring’ is costing many lives and much suffering for these courageous people who die willingly for freedom for their brothers and children. They are called, and are indeed, martyrs.
From now on, this same phenomenon will manifest throughout the world. Already, many peoples are organizing themselves to do likewise. A blueprint for change has caught the imagination of many millions and soon will command the attention of the world. Men have understood that, when organized and brave, they are invincible. Nothing can halt this movement for change. It embodies the concepts of the future and of the Plan. Maitreya has given it voice, which is now the voice of the peoples of the world.
The old order seeks in every way to halt the progress of this movement for change, but it cannot stand for ever against the principles of life: ever changing, ever remaking its form to better express the nature of that life. Thus is it today, and thus the old will wither and the new shoots flourish, as men seek to express and manifest better the principles of the New Time: sharing, justice, right relationship, love and unity.
Man, verily, is on his way. Naught can halt his further progress if he
thinks in terms of Unity. All men seek Unity but are confused by different
paths. Hold ever before you the principles of Unity and Love, and the way
Thus spoke Maitreya in Cairo, in Tahrir Square. The best of those who heard Him will lead their brothers and sisters and show them the way, the simple way to Brotherhood and Peace, Justice and manifested Love.

Q. Maitreya has said that the Palestinians will have their homeland. In a
lot of proposals for peace in the Middle East the future Palestinian state
would include the Gaza Strip and the West Bank. The Palestinians have agreed
with this idea through the Oslo Peace Treaty in 1993. Although this area (Gaza
and the West Bank) is only 22 per cent of the original Palestine, Israel is
permanently annexing Palestinian land by means of the illegal settlements on
the West Bank and in East Jerusalem. As a result the Palestinian territory
has diminished to only 11 per cent of their original homeland – Gaza and a
few ‘bantustans’ on the West Bank.
My understanding has always been that Hierarchy thinks in terms of a two-country solution in which Palestine and Israel exist side by side. Is this correct?
A. Yes, my information is that the Israeli ‘offer’ at present amounts to 26 per cent of the original Palestinian territory. The Israelis claim to be allowing the Palestinians 80 per cent of their former territory, which is manifestly untrue. On this basis, there could never be a peaceful solution. I have thought for many years that it will take the advice of Maitreya to bring about a just division of territory for peace to be achieved and maintained.
Q. Does Hierarchy still see this two-state solution as a realistic option, now that Israel does not stop annexing Palestinian territory?
Q. Should the illegal Jewish settlements on the West Bank (and East Jerusalem) be evacuated to make a just peace treaty possible?
Q. Some groups and organizations support the Palestinians’ plea for a one-state solution in which all citizens, Jewish and Palestinian, have the same democratic rights in one country. How does Hierarchy see such a solution?
A. An excellent solution except that it is probably unattainable. Therefore, They favour a two-state solution.
Q. Will the ‘Arab Spring’ have a positive impact on the situation of the Palestinians?
A. Yes. It is already beginning.
Q. In a lot of countries populist-racist political parties are gaining ground as never before. Immigration is seen by many as the most important problem facing the Western nations, and borders, which were opened in recent decades, may be closed again. Also, more and more people are convinced that we should be less generous with the Developing World, and first solve our own problems. How are we to handle these populist-racist political parties? Sincere politicians (they exist!) are totally desperate because they feel they lack the means to counteract the proposals of these populists for easy solutions for complicated problems.
A. It will take Maitreya Himself to provide ‘the answer’ to this most vexing problem. The fundamental issue can only be resolved through sharing.
Q. A disease known as ‘nodding disease’ surfaced in Sudan in the 1980s. It
is still incurable; medical science is battling to understand its cause. It
appears in children between the ages of five and late puberty, causing epileptic-type
seizures, brain damage and stunted growth. Some 93 per cent of the sufferers
also have river blindness. ‘Nodding’ is so-called because the children can
do nothing other than sit in a more or less permanent sleep state. It has now
spread to Tanzania and Uganda.
Could you or your Master please throw some light on the causes?
A. This is one of the tragic consequences of river blindness.
Q. Is Colonel Gadaffi still alive?
Q. Is Gadaffi insane?
A. He is not necessarily clinically insane but he lives deeply in illusion.
Q. What is the state of mind of President Assad of Syria?
A. Probably worried!
Q. Free will is sacrosanct. However, are there limits to that free will? As an example, what if someone was going to kill him or herself? The police would be called and they would be stopped. Would people be obligated to intervene under such circumstances or is free will sacrosanct under any and all circumstances, as long as others are not harmed, and people should be allowed to do what they want as long as it doesn’t hurt someone else?
A. Humanity’s free will, seen from the point of view of the Masters, is sacrosanct and They do not infringe it. That limits the degree to which the Masters can help humanity. That is the Law. Humanity itself has a limited free will, depending on the person’s level of evolution. The more evolved, the more that person will act within the Law and so have free will; the less evolved a person is, the less he or she lives within the Law of Cause and Effect – karma – and so has less control over it.
Q. I have been supporting and following the emergence of Maitreya since 1988.
I respect and resonate with most everything of yours I have read.
I would like to know why there is no information on which television station we can see the interviews with Maitreya. Each month I expect to see you give that information in Share International magazine or online. I have to truthfully say I am losing my faith.
A. Questions couched in this way are often sent to Share International and time after time I answer them but the answer does not seem to satisfy or seem logical for many people. I truly do not understand why. Let me try again.
Maitreya is now working publicly in the world. That is, He comes on television and speaks or answers questions, without for one moment claiming to be Maitreya or anyone else, simply one of us. He is ‘incognito’, that is, His identity is undisclosed. I am not conducting a game of ‘Find the Teacher’ but of making known that such a Teacher does exist and that these are His priorities – sharing, justice and peace. Over time, more and more people will respond (and are already doing so) to His ideas, which will be more and more taken up by those who resonate to them. In this way an enormous world public opinion is being created by Maitreya. (How do you think that the ‘Arab Spring’ came about, for example?) He Himself is not concerned with being recognized as Maitreya or not, at this time, but that people everywhere should have the opportunity to learn the basic necessities of the actions on our part that will save the world and underpin the new civilization. It does not matter at all whether you recognize a particular person as Maitreya or not but that you are on His side and respond to His ideas. When enough people are so responding the Day of Declaration will be announced and on that day, for all people in the world, Maitreya will make His true status known without infringing human freewill. That is Maitreya’s plan, not mine, and I hope this explains why I cannot give information about a particular programme or station which He might be using at any time.
Today (21 May 2011) was the day of street protests in Le Havre against the G8 that will take place in Deauville on the other side of the river Seine.
Living in the area, I decided to join with a placard that the Paris group had lent me. I was walking in the direction of the rally with my placard dismantled in two pieces. At the rail station I noticed three young black men by the wall of the station. One was joyful and wearing a vivid dark blue T-shirt. When I came up to them, the young man with the blue T-shirt said, with a loud voice, about the message on the placard: “Sharing will save the world, what a beautiful phrase!” I smiled at him with surprise because the placard was dismantled and I had no idea that someone could read the message. He added: “For sure this is the best phrase of the rally.” The rally was very peaceful and a dozen people took a picture of the placard. Would you say please who was the young man with the blue T-shirt ?

(1) I was serving refreshments at an interfaith conference when a man dressed in green robes approached for a glass of water. He wore a black hat and carried a homemade walking stick. He looked like one of those medieval pilgrims from France. When I asked him, he smiled and said: “Yes, you could say I’m on pilgrimage!” He joked with me, and all of my worries eased. Was he one of the Masters?

(2) Seen recently at a Catholic University in California: a green-robed bard with walking stick of wisdom. He was carrying a scroll, and as he entered the auditorium hosting an interfaith event, he declared: “Only Mercurius Buddha knows the secret of the coming of the Messiah.” He repeated this three times. He was jolly and joked with the conference participants. I tried to find him after the conference, to tell him how exhilarated I felt by his appearance, but I couldn’t find him. Was he one of the Masters?

(3) I was at a conference ‘On Death and Dying’ hosted by an interfaith council, and at the break, I met a man in a green robe and big black hat! He carried a scroll and a large cane. He was bearded, with long brown hair. His face shone and his smile refreshed me after a long day with my colleagues. I asked him, “Why are you wearing a costume?” He laughed, and said, “I was asked the same question by a little girl when I walked through her neighborhood on the way here from the forest. She was selling lemonade with her sisters, but they didn’t have a knack for business: they set up their stand facing their house, instead of the street, and they wrote the advertisement on the sidewalk. Maybe they were trying to sell lemonade to passing spacecraft. She asked me, ‘Why are you wearing a costume?’ so I said to her, ‘Why are YOU wearing a costume?’ She insisted she wasn’t: ‘I’m not.’ I laughed at her, ‘Says you!’ We’re all wearing costumes!” I laughed with the Green Man, then I returned to the conference. We talked about some other things, I don’t remember now so much, but I do remember how light I felt meeting him! Did I meet a Master, and if so, what was he doing there that day?

We recently had quite an unusual visit at our Transmission Meditation group in Maribor, Slovenia, and we would like to ask you if our visitors were special. As we gathered before the meditation two men entered the room. They told us this was their first time, so I explained the basic principles of Transmission Meditation to them. One of them told us that he was a student from Kazakhstan and his friend was from Sri Lanka. He asked me to explain the meditation to the Sri Lankan man in English, because he didn’t understand Slovenian, so I repeated it in English. They stayed for an hour and a half and then left. We had a notion that they were not very experienced in meditation. This visit was very unusual, there are not many Asian people living in Maribor. They never returned to our group, but one member thinks she saw the Sri Lankan guy in the city on a bike a few weeks later. We all felt that this meditation was a bit different, but that might only be our imagination.
Were they special or just visiting students in Maribor?

Yesterday, 13 May 2011, immediately after I came home from Transmission Meditation I opened the window and saw a bright orange light in the sky. It was around 9.45pm and the ball flew from north to south as if it would follow an orbit. First I thought it was an aeroplane, but the light was constant and not flickering and it was not an object, it was just a total orange ball, it flew fast and after some seconds it was hidden behind the big houses in my street.
Please could you tell me if it was something special?

We had rented a hall of the ‘Palais du Perrou” in Neuchâtel for 30 April 2011, to give a lecture about Maitreya and the Masters of Wisdom, when suddenly my friend and co-worker, who normally is the speaker, had to have a serious operation. Even if it was possible to cancel it, something prevented me from doing this. The world situation was so terrible, the information had to be given. So I decided to do the lecture by myself.
We should start at 3pm, but nobody except a friend and two colleagues of Transmission Meditation were present. I was sure to have to annul all, when at the last minute two ladies came in. Immediately I thought that they could be Maitreya and the Master Jesus. This frightened me, I felt like I was taking a test and was worried to ridicule myself with my simple words. One of these very elegant ladies, dressed in light colours, didn’t look at me, probably to spare me. With closed eyes and the hand on her heart she listened to my speech. I was panic-stricken. I understood that I had to speak from my heart, but full of emotions I could not, even though I felt the energy of Maitreya, soft but powerful, as if to pluck up my courage. Finally looking at the lady with the hand on her heart helped me a little.
Before the lecture I had asked Maitreya the gift of his help and to be present in the hall, to give a great lift to our small and relatively new group of Transmission Meditation. Who were the two ladies?
P.R., Neuchâtel, Switzerland.

On 9 October 2010 I was with my son in a park. It was a sunny afternoon. My son slept in the pram and I sat beside him on the bench in the sun.
Then I saw an old man with a walking stick approaching the bench where I was sitting. I looked at him and an inner feeling came: “This is Maitreya”. He wore black sunglasses, dark cloth-cap, brown jacket, dark trousers. He came and asked very politely: “Is this free?” And then, as he sat down, he said: “For a while in the sun”. He took his cloth-cap off and I saw his completely grey hair. We sat in silence and peace.
Then he took his walking stick and started drawing something on the ground. Immediately the painting by Nicholas Roerich, ‘Signs of Christ’, came to my mind. Then he stood up, looked at me from above his sunglasses, smiled and said very politely: “See you”. As he left, I looked at his drawing. It showed a cross.
May I ask you, if this old man was indeed Maitreya?
A.R. Ljubljana, Slovenia.
(Benjamin Creme’s Master confirms that the ‘old man’ was indeed Maitreya. Editor’s Note: The cross was not the Christian cross but the even-armed cross of Aquarius.)
A group of elite Bilderberg members were unwittingly confronted by demonstrators
when they were led to them by a ‘mystery woman in white’.
The exclusive and secretive Bilderberg Conference invites around 140 guests from industry, politics, finance, education and communication. Meetings are held in secrecy and high security, with hotels being inaccessible to any other guests for the duration.
During this year’s conference in St Moritz, Switzerland, from 9-12 June 2011, several Bilderberg guests were setting out from their bus for a walk. As Guardian journalist Charlie Skelton describes in his online blog, the plan was “to amble down through the gorgeous scenery, back to the Suvretta House Hotel for tea.” Included in the group were Erich Schmidt (former executive of Google), Franco Bernabè (CEO of Telecom Italia), Ying Fu (China’s vice-minister of foreign affairs), Swedish billionaire banker Jacob Wallenberg and politician Lord Mandelson from the UK.
Skelton describes how “from nowhere, like something from a dream, a distinguished lady, dressed from top to toe in white, whooshed serenely past security and swanned to the front of the power walkers. No one recognised her or has seen her since. She had an other-worldly quality; I half expected her to be leading them to Charon’s boat, or up a stair-way formed of clouds.”
The ‘lady in white’ led the still chatting guests through pleasant scenery ‘off-piste’, straight into “a pack of 50 baffled activists, who were milling around outside a community hall during a break in a symposium.”
The activists, as surprised as the Bilderberg guests, started crowding round
them, firing questions and voicing their concerns. Ali Aslan, walking alongside
Airbus CEO Thomas Enders asked what they were discussing. “I don’t understand,
there are politicians inside. Why are we not allowed to know what you’re talking
“This is terrible”, Mr Mandelson was heard to utter, before being led back to the safety of obscurity by security guards. The woman in white was not seen again. (Source: The Guardian, UK)

A touring UFO museum was recently opened to the public at a shopping mall
in Istanbul. An initiative of the Turkey-based Sirius UFO Space Science Research
Center, the exhibit is intended to make the public aware that extraterrestrials
walk among us by allowing visitors access to written and visual materials such
as documents, UFO photos and videos from Turkey and around the world, analyses,
articles and specially made mockups and models.
According to Haktan Akdogan, director of the group, the project was launched without any financial support. The tailor-made truck will be set up in front of shopping malls as it tours around Turkey with the goal of introducing a global culture to Turkish people and sharing information that proves we are not alone in the world.
After stopping at several locations in Istanbul, the mobile museum will travel around Turkey for one year, visiting many cities, universities and high schools. Mr Akdogan, who expects the exhibit to attract a total of 1 million people, says: “Those who have prejudices about the existence of UFOs will change their mind.” (Source: hurriyetdailynews.com, Turkey)
“It was God’s timing,’ she says. “I had been looking for a Jesus model for two years, and I could not find the right face. Then one day I asked my family to pray with me all day. We petitioned God to send the model right through our front door. The next day a tall carpenter came in. He was so humble, and I was surprised that he agreed to model for me. But a week later he called back to say that he was unworthy to represent his master.
We all prayed together again, and a few days later he called back to tell us that God wanted him to do it, but he had to cut his hair and beard in three days. So we took a few pictures and I studied his face for a long time. After dozens of sketches, I started painting. It took me 40 hours to finish the first Jesus painting – the ‘Prince of Peace’ – and I still remember I lost four teeth in that time.”
Jurij Sizenov Nikolaevich, presenter for the Russian television and radio
network Shabolovka, explained that the television station had compared Akianes’s
‘Prince of Peace’ painting with the computerized image taken from the Turin
Shroud that was hanging in his office. “To our complete shock and marvel,”
he said, “we found virtually an exact match! It is a miracle and it must come
from God! There are no words to describe how a little 8-year-old girl could
portray such wisdom, compassion and love in the eyes she painted.” (Source: www.artakiane.com)

During the tornado in Tuscaloosa, Alabama, on 27 April 2011, a young resident,
Tillman Merritt, was huddled with his three friends in the hallway of his house
taking cover. As the tornado approached, Merritt heard a voice in his head
that said: “Go to the closet, go to the closet.” He did just that, leaving
his friends in the hallway so that he could take cover in the closet. After
the tornado had passed, there was just a small hole for Merritt to crawl out
of. Except for the closet he was in, the entire house, including his three
friends, had been tossed across the street. Merritt was the only one of the
four to survive. (Source: CNN)

On 2 June 2011, at 9.30pm, a horse farmer in New Zealand filmed what he called
“a strange light” that was “hovering 20 meters off the ground”, some 2,000
feet away from where he had stopped his truck. The farmer explained the light
“was just like a big ball of energy, pulsing colors of yellow, pinky purple”.
He added: “As the object hovered upwards the bottom changed shape – almost
went flat; as the object hovered down the object would go completely round.”
Rotorua Astronomical Society vice-president Brian Hurren said the light could be anything, “from an out-of-focus star to an unusual plasma ball”. (Source: YouTube: Horsefarmer1000; www.nzherald.co.nz)

We present a selection of quotations on the theme
of ‘Sharing the World’s Resources’ from Maitreya (Messages from Maitreya
the Christ), Benjamin Creme’s Master (A Master Speaks), and Benjamin Creme’s
It is Maitreya’s task to remind men of their heroic destiny, and to persuade
them that the act of sharing will engender the trust they seek. He will show
that sharing is no longer an option, a choice, but the inevitable consequence
of their realization that humanity is One.
Thus will Maitreya and His Group guide humanity away from the abyss which, many believe, threatens to engulf it. And thus, too, will He set men firmly on the course to realize their divine destiny. (Benjamin Creme’s Master, from ‘The creation of trust’)
What is required is a reassessment of who and what we are in our relationship to each other. Maitreya says the first step we have to take to address these problems is to see ourselves as one, brothers and sisters of one humanity. We have to get that sense of globality, that we are one people, one group – and therefore the food, raw materials, energy, scientific know-how and educational facilities of the world belong to everyone. These resources are given so that all people may evolve correctly according to the Plan which underlies our evolutionary process. As a result, we must share these resources more equitably. When we share, Maitreya says, we will create justice in the world, and when we create justice, and only then, will we have peace. (Benjamin Creme, Maitreya’s Mission Volume Three)
Sharing is the key of keys. Through sharing men will come to know the meaning of God’s love. Without sharing there can be no future for man, for the time has come to manifest God’s love – or die. Sharing provides the answer to all man’s problems and a sure entry into the New Age. Through sharing, peace will prevail. Through sharing, justice will be won. Through sharing and co-operation, brotherhood will flourish, and a new and glorious future open for man. (Benjamin Creme’s Master, from ‘The future’)
If we would evolve, develop as a race, we must realize our oneness, realize that we are brothers and sisters of one family, under the one Divine Source, and identical with that Source. What happens in a normal family? They share whatever they have. A mother will not feed one child better than another, give one child 17 per cent and another 83 per cent of the food. We have to realize that we are one family, and therefore must share the resources of the world more equitably around the world. (Benjamin Creme, Maitreya’s Mission Volume Three)
Wherever you look throughout the world, the response to My Message can be
seen. The principle of Sharing, basic to men’s lives, engages the minds of
the leaders. A growing group of such awakened men sound the keynote of the
New Time. Thus gladly do I see the response to My work.
My friends, you too can manifest Sharing in your lives; by all means should this divine principle govern. Teach Sharing to your children, to the little ones, and enable them to cultivate the Good. My task is to enlighten all men; to change ignorance into true knowledge and faith; to teach men that behind all that they see stands the One Reality, and thus to take them to God. (Maitreya, from Message No.127)
From time to time, I have spoken of the need to inculcate the spirit of sharing whereby the world’s resources can be more equitably distributed. This would lead to a reduction of tension and of incalculable human suffering. It would also bring about a revitalization of the life and of the economies of the already developed nations. The life-blood of the planet must circulate. The stagnant economies of the richer nations can only be galvanized into motion through the recognition that the poorer nations, too, have a right to live and to enjoy a reasonable standard of life. Only sharing can make this so.
Daily, the evidence mounts to show men that the world is One, that humanity is an organism whose well-being depends on the health of every part, and that to ignore the signs of danger and of disease is no longer possible or wise. Many now see this and call for justice but only the cry of awakened humanity will suffice to shift the Powers from their positions of greed. (Benjamin Creme’s Master, from ‘The future beckons’)
There is a wonderful statement by the great Spanish poet Federico Garcia
Lorca about the ending of hunger:
“The day that hunger is eradicated from the Earth there will be the greatest spiritual explosion the world has ever known. Humanity cannot imagine the joy that will burst into the world on the day of that great revolution.”
That may seem a very ambitious statement, but it is a recognition, I believe, that the eradication of hunger in a world of plenty is humanity’s first step into its divinity because it is the first step into right relationship of man to man. As soon as we recognize that we are One and begin to share the resources of the world among all peoples, we take the first step into becoming gods. Therein lies the essential spirituality of the new economic structures, which must be based on sharing because they must be based on man’s divinity. (Benjamin Creme, Maitreya’s Mission Volume One) ….
So great are the tensions inherent in the vast differences in economic power wielded by the various nations that true stability is impossible to achieve. This being so, it is only a question of time before the whole shaky edifice collapses ignominiously.
This will be the signal and the opportunity for a complete reappraisal of the economic priorities of the world. The needs of all peoples are the same: adequate food, housing, education and healthcare are the essential requirements without which men cannot reach, nor render to society, their full potential. Millions, today, are denied these basic rights.
When Maitreya emerges, His first priority will be to address this fundamental problem, to show how simple it is to change the status quo when men see themselves as brothers. He will advocate, as a matter of urgency, the sharing of the necessities of life more equitably as the prerequisite for a stable world society. Thus will He draw the peoples together and commit them to transformation. When men see the need, and recognize the possibilities thus revealed, they will gladly adhere to Maitreya’s recommendations and implement the needed changes. (Benjamin Creme’s Master, from ‘Inclusiveness the key’)
My task will be to show you how to live together peacefully as brothers. This is simpler than you imagine, My friends, for it requires only the acceptance of Sharing. Sharing, indeed, is divine. It underlies all progress for man. By its means, My brothers and sisters, you can come into correct relationship with God; and this, My friends, underlies your lives. When you share, you recognise God in your brother. This is a truth, simple, but until now difficult for man to grasp. The time has come to evidence this truth. (Maitreya, from Message No.82)
Share International presents a special feature highlighting the dangers, seen and unseen, of nuclear fission.
by the Master –, through Benjamin Creme
If men were to see the state of the world as We, the Masters, see, they would be amazed, dumfounded and afraid, all at the same time. So far from the reality is man’s view of conditions on Earth, and so lacking in judgement is he about future possibilities, that, without help, man would watch his planetary home languish and die.
As it is, planet Earth is in a sad and perilous condition while each day brings it nearer to the critical. Many voices have sounded warnings on global warming, and many views have been expressed, but even the most dire prophecy falls short of the calamity facing the world today. Few there are who see the immediacy of the threat and the urgency of the steps needed to counter it.
Great as is the peril posed by global warming, this, unfortunately, is not the greatest, or most hazardous, faced by man today. Did he but know it, man is engaged in a slow but steadily increasing intoxification of the race and of the lower kingdoms. Toxicity, pollutions, of all kinds, and in all fields, is now the greatest danger to men, animals and the Earth itself. All are poisoned and sick in their own way.
Unknown to men but evident to Us, the greatest harm sustained by men and planet
in this sorry tale is caused by nuclear radiation. Men have gone far astray
in the development of this most dangerous energetic source. Led astray by greed,
and the false hope of vast profits, they have concentrated their experiments
in ‘taming’ the most dangerous source of energy ever discovered by man, neglecting,
meanwhile, a perfectly safe alternative use of the energy of the atom. Atomic
fusion, cold and harmless, could be theirs from a simple isotope of water,
everywhere available in the oceans, seas and rivers, and in every shower of
Man must cease his ‘toying with death’. Atomic fission is the result of the atomic bombs which destroyed Hiroshima and Nagasaki; which erupted in Chernobyl and causes, subtly, death and sickness today. It is “that which stands where it ought not” and which must be renounced by man if he would prosper further.
Earth scientists are confident that they have, indeed, tamed the monster, and can keep it under control. They do not realize that their instruments are crude indeed, that they measure only the lower aspects of nuclear radiation, that stretching above these dense-physical levels are levels finer and more dangerous to the health and well-being of all. But for the tireless efforts of our Extra-planetary Brothers in assuaging this invisible peril in so far as the karmic law allows, our plight would be perilous indeed. Wake up, mankind!
Q. (1) What’s the best way to convince medical science that, whether or not nuclear plants have accidents, suffer disasters, leaks, and so on, the very fact that they exist at all is dangerous and highly toxic? (2) Would further developments in Kirlian photography technology provide effective proof? (3) If not, which scientific approach would lead most rapidly to finding proof of how polluting nuclear energy is?
A. (1) If it were possible I would have done so long ago. I have been speaking about the dangers of nuclear radiation for 30 years or more. These ‘scientists’ will listen only to their own kind, who unfortunately share the same set of blinkers. (2) No. (3) The experience of disasters like the ones at Fukushima, Chernobyl, etc.
Q. Hierarchical advice is that all nuclear plants should be closed as soon
as possible. (1) Scientists say that nuclear energy is cleaner than carbon-based
energy;(2) There are no really efficient alternatives. (3) So much money is
invested in the nuclear industry it is virtually impossible to extricate our
economies from it.
Could you please comment on the issues raised above?
A. (1) In terms of carbon yes, but not in terms of destructiveness. (2) The alternative is the fusion process of nuclear energy. It does not depend on fission. It is clean, cold, does not provide waste and according to the Master Djwhal Khul (who gave the Alice A.Bailey teachings) requires only a simple isotope of water, available worldwide, in order to satisfy our need for power. There are various formulae for the fusion process, some of which have already been bought up by branches of the oil industry to protect their domain. (3) This is true of the more sophisticated industrial nations but not for the whole world. We do not need power stations based on nuclear fission. They are out of date and extremely dangerous.
Q. Could your Master please say how the world’s energy needs can be met in the short to medium term, supposing that the world follows Hierarchy’s advice to stop using nuclear energy.
A. The cold fusion process (see above question).
Q. In the book The Reappearance of the Christ and the Masters of Wisdom, you
have predicted that cold fusion using deuterium, the isotope of hydrogen, will
be used soon, implying that it is safe owing to almost no by-products concerning
radioactivity; and deuterium is superabundant in the waters of the oceans and
rivers of the world.
Presently, there are many scientists in the world working in the field of cold fusion/condensed matter nuclear science, confirming that cold fusion is actually taking place. On the other hand, it seems to be very difficult to obtain quantitative (not qualitative) reproducibility in the obtained experimental results. It is indispensable to establish the accurate reproducibility of obtained results of cold fusion experiments before being applied to industrial applications. To solve this difficulty we would like to have the comment of you (or your Master).
A. When the necessary amount of energy, time and money is made available this will come about. This will be soon.
Q. Is the complete cessation of all activities involving nuclear energy produced by fission likely to take place within the next 25 years?
Q. A certain amount of nuclear energy is needed for medical applications – does the world also need to phase that out? What would replace it in the short term?
A. This will be superseded by the coming advanced form of genetic engineering.
Q. Since Fukushima a so-called “nuclear stress test” has been developed. (1) Do you think it is rigorous enough? (2) Is the stress test an honest, un-manipulated attempt to prove safety and highlight dangers?
A. (1) No. (2) It may be an honest attempt but it is certainly not an effective one. The whole point is that the technology of nuclear science today is inadequate to measure the whole range of the energy of matter.
Q. Is a significant drop in the current standard of living and comfort an inevitable outcome of getting rid of atomic energy?
A. No, by no means.
Q. Where are the most dangerous nuclear plants at present around the globe?
A. All plants which are more than 20 years old are particularly suspect whether they have had an accident or not.
Q. Is genetic disruption and mutation an unavoidable consequence of exposure to nuclear pollution?
Q. Germany has announced it will abandon nuclear energy in the coming years. Do you think other countries will follow suit?
A. Yes, in time.
Q. Should all people living in and near Fukushima (e.g. 30 km radius) be permanently evacuated?
A. Not permanently. Once the plant is shut down people could start to return in a year or two.
Q. Does removing the top soil in the area make it safe for children to attend school there?
A. Probably, yes.
Q. What is the best way to deal with food products which may have been contaminated?
A. They should be destroyed
Q. How large should the evacuated zone be?
A. It depends on the progress on the shutting down of the plants.
Q. Highly contaminated water was accidentally discharged into the sea after the accident in Fukushima and could not be stopped for some days, causing worldwide concern; fish in the area were badly affected. Though it may depend on the kind of fish, how long and how wide does this contamination affect the area?
A. It’s impossible to say because of tides and winds.
Excerpts from an interview with Benjamin Creme’s Master
During a wide-ranging discussion with London-based journalist Patricia Pitchon on 4 August 1994 about major problems of land, air and sea pollution, Mr Creme’s Master kindly agreed to answer questions (through Benjamin Creme) on these topics. Published in Share International in October 1994, we reproduce an extract on nuclear pollution from the interview.
After the interview Patricia Pitchon explained: “The Master underlined the urgency of dealing with dangerous nuclear reactors as an absolute priority. He also provided a fascinating picture of forthcoming discoveries. Currently the nuclear industry in various parts of Western Europe is promoting itself as the clean form of energy. The main problems, however, refer to storage. Nuclear reactors in the major industrialized countries now operating or being built will produce thousands of cubic metres of high-level waste. The problem of a long-term repository for high-level wastes remains unsolved. High-level wastes are stored in stainless steel tanks, but there have been leaks. A process to solidify waste in glass (vitrification) is being studied, but the danger is that the glass blocks may disintegrate later on. As for underground sites, the search for stable geological sites has not been successful, and we cannot predict future geological movements; earthquakes mean there are no guarantees. Intermediate and low-level wastes are buried in shallow grounds in the US and in the UK, but in the US three sites were closed down several years ago due to contamination. Low-level waste has also been dumped into the sea.
“This panorama is made infinitely worse by the fact that in Eastern Europe the dangers multiply with a large number of ageing and dangerous nuclear reactors. The entrepreneur Edward Goldsmith estimated in a recent book that there are at least 41 disasters of the Chernobyl type waiting to happen in Eastern Europe.”
Patricia Pitchon: What is the Master’s view on these dangers?
The Master: Our advice is to close down all nuclear fission reactors without delay. They are a major source of deadly pollution. Life on this planet would be utter misery were it not for the help of our Space Brothers who neutralize this pollution and render it harmless within karmic limits. Fleets of Their space ships, using implosion devices, do this on a daily basis.
Patricia Pitchon: Within how many years does the Master think we will manage
to do this?
The Master: One of the first things Maitreya will advise is the closing down of nuclear reactors and ending all representation of nuclear fission as being a more efficient way of producing energy. From the politicians’ point of view, there is power, prestige and commercial gain from nuclear energy. The average person’s mind is confused by all the scientific jargon; his voice is not properly heard in the realms of power. But the voice of the people is about to become more articulate: one of the many aspects of Maitreya’s mission is to act as the voice of the people, to address the problems of peace and war, and starvation in the midst of plenty; to galvanize the will of the people to force politicians to address these issues. Government, today, is about power and the wielding of power, rather than about service. The problem is to shift the emphasis. What is required is the appearance of Maitreya, which is very imminent indeed. These questions have to be addressed by humanity itself, with Maitreya as a guide….
At the conclusion of the interview the Master added the following:
In restoring the planet, salvation is a collective effort. Maitreya will make it clear that this is the case. I estimate that within three to five years from the moment of Maitreya’s appearance an enormous transformation will be taking place. Starvation on the planet will be tackled: mass progress for the starving millions is the aim, and on a scale which we have never contemplated. That achieved, we will tackle the problems of the environment around us. The top priority is the complete transformation of our mode of living towards one that is sustainable.
We will see the end of the current economy based on unbridled growth. Men everywhere will be able to eat and live and preserve the resources of the environment. (Maitreya’s Mission, Volume Three)
by Andrea Bistrich
We tried it once before: Germany, the third largest industrial nation in the world was to be free of nuclear power – following the Chernobyl catastrophe in 1986 finally there were to be consequences. Exactly eleven years ago, on 14 June 2000, the then red-green coalition of the Social Democratic Party and the Greens led by Chancellor Gerhard Schroeder and the first Green Foreign Minister, Joschka Fischer, along with leading industrialists from the energy sector, negotiated legislation to end the use of atomic energy. The Nuclear Consensus, that was legally endorsed two years later, envisaged a definite shut down of all German nuclear plants by 2021.
After the change of government in 2005 the Conservatives under Chancellor Angela Merkel revoked the Nuclear Consensus, against the will of the German people, and extended the functioning life of nuclear power plants by an average of 12 years. Of the 17 reactors that exist in Germany today the last to be taken out of service, based on new government plans, would be in 2036 – as opposed to 2021 as originally planned. The hope of millions of citizens for the safe generation of electricity based on clean, renewable energy was dashed by Angela Merkel’s “withdrawal from withdrawal” and the decades of engagement of an active protest movement were clearly rejected. Nowhere in the world are there so many opponents to nuclear energy.
The devastating natural catastrophe and the subsequent meltdown in Fukushima on 12 March 2011 releasing high levels of radioactivity changed everything. The Japanese reactor accident re-ignited the German nuclear debate and led to the largest anti-nuclear protests to date. In Berlin, Hamburg, Munich and Cologne over 250,000 people demonstrated, demanding a German exit from the nuclear energy program; the demonstration also paid tribute to the victims in Japan. People held up banners and posters with statements like: “Nuclear energy destroys lives”, “Fukushima is everywhere”, “Switch off!”
With renewed and now even greater emphasis the majority of citizens demanded a quick withdrawal. Even those who previously supported atomic energy turned against it after the calamity in Japan. According to the polls, 55 per cent of Germans want a quick withdrawal within five years. Eleven per cent even want all reactors to be shut down immediately. Only 9 per cent endorse the extended maintenance of the power plants (until 2036) forced through by the Merkel administration.
The majority of the population now believes the age of nuclear power to be finally over. This became clear in the elections of Baden-Württemberg, when millions of the electorate voted tactically to teach the Conservatives a lesson for, among other things, extending the functioning life of nuclear power plants; after almost 60 years the Conservatives were forced to relinquish power to the Green Party.
Fukushima proved that it is not simply a matter of calculating risks, but that absolute safety and control, contrary to all assertions by the nuclear industry, can never be guaranteed. Fukushima’s warning: what until now was beyond our imagination has become reality. For all those who believed in a future with nuclear energy this must be a painful realization.
In Germany it would take even less than a powerful earthquake – a landslide, floods, a plane crash or terrorist attack would be enough to cause a total meltdown. And, just as in the case of the Japanese plants, German power stations are not prepared for two simultaneous catastrophes. This is the conclusion reached by a security review commissioned by the government in March 2011. Seven teams of experts examined precautions to deal with terrorist attacks, plane crashes, dam breaks, earthquakes, extreme heat and cold as well as lengthy electricity failure. The result: all power plants have, in one way or another, excessive safety defects. Not one single German reactor is protected against a plane crash, for example.
In a first response the German Government announced a moratorium. From the end of March previously agreed extensions to the life-spans of power plants ended; 13 of the 17 German nuclear reactors are to be taken off the grid to allow time for a review of nuclear strategy, while the oldest seven are to remain offline permanently. The Conservative government now proposes “a measured exit” with new energy policies. Angela Merkel, who holds a Ph.D. in physics, admits publicly: “The catastrophe of Fukushima, the full extent of which we still don’t know, has also changed my personal stance to nuclear power and its risks.”
Nuclear power phase-out, yes! But how?
An ethics commission on safe energy consisting of representatives from politics, science, economics, civil society and religion has been entrusted with a new evaluation of the safety standards of German nuclear power plants and the future of nuclear technology, and tasked with preparing a social consensus for the withdrawal from nuclear power. Key questions: when do we shut down? What other energy forms can we and must we develop and to what extent? How “green” can and should the German energy supply become?
In their draft released at the end of May the ethics commission proposed a phase-out of nuclear power by 2022. The Merkel government has already announced its plans to withdraw by then – it is Germany’s second withdrawal. But for many this does not go far enough: environmentalists and Green Party politicians are disappointed by the recent proposal and believe an earlier phase-out by 2015 or 2017 to be possible. A withdrawal by 2022 is not seen as an adequate response to the Fukushima disaster; environmentalists claim that nuclear energy could be replaced much more rapidly by environmentally friendly and safer alternatives. A study by the Environment Board of Dessau, which was held back until recently by the Federal Ministry of the Environment, comes to the same conclusion: experts established that German nuclear reactors can be phased-out of service by 2017 – without power failures and excessive price rises...
The cost of nuclear energy:
• Nuclear energy funding has amounted to more than €200 billion since 1950.
An estimated further investment of €100 billion is expected before the final
close in 2020.
• Unlike other electricity producers the operators of nuclear reactors have for decades been exempt from taxation.
• The state (in other words the tax payer) covers 99 per cent of costs for final storage of spent fuel. The safety factors for final and interim storage remain unclear.
• No liability: operators of nuclear power plants have to insure themselves against possible accidents – but only to an amount of €2.5 billion per reactor. In the case of a total meltdown, liability for the Federal Government’s estimated damages up to €5,000 billion would be carried by the tax payer.
• Dismantling: it has been estimated that to dismantle one reactor would require approximately €700 million. But the actual costs are much higher. The relatively small reactor in Rheinsberg (80 megawatt capacity) for example, has already incurred costs of €400 million so far (since the early 1990s). Since the reactor buildings are strongly contaminated with radioactivity they must remain standing for a further 30 years which will require further millions of euros…
The renunciation of nuclear energy will only be possible when all renewable energy sources such as wind energy, photovoltaic, hydro-electric power and geothermic energy are systematically developed. Scenarios by the Federal Environment Agency about the energy supply in the year 2050 indicate that renewable energies complement each other well. The electricity supply in Germany forty years from now could be provided mainly by photovoltaic energy (in the brighter yet windless summer months) and wind energy (in winter). Even now, on a warm summer day, for example, Germany’s photovoltaic facilities can produce a total of 120 million kilowatt-hours of solar electricity – thereby replacing the daily output of four nuclear reactors.
In an interview for the weekly magazine Die Zeit, Kumi Naidoo, head of Greenpeace, pointed up the enormous opportunity that a German exit from nuclear power would bring. According to Naidoo, Germany could become “a global role model” and so play a substantial role in energy policies for a sustainable future.
As the daily Tageszeitung recently put it: “Establishing facts like these will be the best way to end the epoch of atomic madness for all time – in Germany as well as Europe.”
The tragedy of Fukushima combined with growing public opinion around the world has provided unprecedented momentum. This is a major opportunity we cannot afford to lose.

When asked if the space people have helped Earth humanity, George Adamski wrote in 1958 in his Cosmic Science bulletin that, among other things, “they have done much to neutralize the radioactive conditions created in our atmosphere through our bomb testings. Were it not for their assistance in this, radiation would be much more pervasive than it is today.” (1)
On his first meeting with a Master from Venus Adamski was told: “My son, our main purpose in coming to you [the Earth] at this time is to warn you of the grave danger which threatens men of Earth today.… Even though the power and radiation from the test explosions have not yet gone out beyond your Earth’s sphere of influence, these radiations are endangering the life of men on Earth. A decomposition will set in that, in time, will fill your atmosphere with the deadly elements which your scientists and your military men have confined into what you term ‘bombs’.” (2)
However, the Space People warned Adamski that the dangers of nuclear bombs
extend far beyond Earth’s atmosphere: “If … mankind on Earth should release
such power against one another in full warfare, a large part of Earth’s population
could be annihilated, your soil rendered sterile, your water poisoned and barren
to life for many years to come. It is possible that the body of your planet
itself could be mutilated to an extent that would destroy her balance in our
“These would be the effects directly concerning your world. For us, traveling through space could be made difficult and dangerous for a long time to come, since the energies released in such multiple explosions would then penetrate through your atmosphere into outer space.” (2)
When Adamski asked his space friends if the drastic changes in the atmospheric conditions of Earth could be the result of the nuclear tests, one of his space contacts, the Saturnian Ramu, replied: “They have indeed! And we are not guessing. Our instruments have registered those results. We KNOW!”(2) The abnormal conditions within our atmosphere of which the Space Brothers warned in Adamski’s book Inside the Space Ships, have been built up within the ionosphere through the explosion of nuclear devices. “As a result, our atmosphere is being polluted … by the nuclear bombs that have been, and are still being, exploded around the world. This is an abnormal condition of our own making … only we can change it.” (1)
One of the dangerous conditions that arise from nuclear tests, according to Adamski, are concentrations of radiation which at times gather together and under certain circumstances “can extract enough elements from the atmosphere as ‘fireballs’. With their finer instruments, space people are able to detect these … pockets of radiation, visible or invisible; and when they do, they intercept and disintegrate them… This is but another of their ways of aiding us.” (1)
Similarly, atomic clouds that result from atomic explosions are composed of the same concentrated energy, but on a much larger scale. Adamski explains: “Should one of our planes contact such an invisible ‘cloud’, it would either explode or disintegrate, seeming to disappear before the eyes of the onlooker. This explains some of the mysterious plane disappearances that have been reported. Since on several occasions space ships were being tracked on radar, and in some instances even visual reports were made of them in the vicinity of a disappearing plane, the implication has been that space ships were kidnapping our planes. But I have been told that because of our inefficient instruments for detection, space people know our pilots are helpless in the path of these ‘clouds’. To avoid these very tragedies, they do their utmost to reach the concentrated mass as quickly as possible. However, there have been occasions when they arrived just as one or more of our planes were entering one of these pockets of concentrated energy. Under the circumstances, they were unable to do more than stand by; because once a plane is caught in such a force it is impossible to save either the plane or its occupants. But they then later disintegrate the invisible cloud to avoid further catastrophe. With their more sophisticated instruments the Space Brothers can detect and neutralize these clouds of destruction.” (1)
It seems that whenever the Space Brothers meet with men and women of Earth, they warn against the dangers of nuclear fission technology, as they did also in the case of Helen and Betty Mitchell, two sisters from Texas, USA. The Mitchell sisters were first contacted by space people from Mars and Venus in 1957 and in June 1959 were asked to convey a message about the dangers of nuclear testing: “…[S]top the unnecessary tests of these bombs. For those who maintain it is necessary to show the military strength, we can only say what strength is there to be shown that deprives people, vegetation and animals of a perfectly beautiful and attainable future otherwise? Is it truly possible that … such destructive weapons can replace sane, sound actions of better living? It is necessary now for the Space People living upon Earth to take protective measures or otherwise suffer the same effects from radioactivity as the citizens [of Earth].” (3)
In fact, according to Adamski, “The early crashes [of UFOs] were caused when
[nuclear] radiation in our atmosphere was taken into their craft through a
process similar to our air conditioning systems. The crews became ill and lost
control of their ships, resulting in fatal crashes. After a number of these
fatalities had taken place, the crews on other ships began studying conditions
and seeking ways to avoid such disasters. Now they have succeeded.
“They have perfected a small object which each crew member carries on his person while their ship is moving through our atmosphere. A similar object on a much larger scale is used to purify the atmosphere within their craft. No space person ever comes to Earth without one of these for protection to help him withstand the radiation present not only in our atmosphere, but in our food and water as well. (…)
“Their instruments have been developed with minerals and elements from their own planets, therefore contain frequencies harmonious with the users. Protective objects for Earth’s people must be constructed from the elements and minerals of our planet in order for them to blend with the frequencies of our bodies in their relationship to Earth. Research is now being conducted in an effort to work out the necessary details for such an instrument.” (1)
And in June 1958 he added: “Long before the detonation of the first atomic
bomb our scientists were studying the natural cosmic rays coming from space.
Their research had proved that under certain conditions these rays could be
deadly; but normally their harmful effects were filtered out by their passage
through our atmosphere. However, exploding the first nuclear bomb started an
artificial barrier against the customary free flow of these rays, and each
succeeding detonation has added to its depth until now the cosmic rays must
hammer their way through this artificial barrier of radiation. This results
in sporadic break-throughs of such high concentrations of cosmic rays, that
our atmosphere cannot filter out all the harmful radiation coming to us from
“This barrier of radiation of our own making could be compared to a dam with a large body of water behind it. When the first small fissure appears in the dam, the weight of the stored-up water will rush through with unnatural force. The same principle applies to the cosmic rays breaking through the radiation clouds with which we have surrounded the planet at the present time. As a result, our atmosphere is being polluted by these natural forces of space, as well as by the [radioactive fallout from the] nuclear bombs that have been, and are still being, exploded around the world. This is an abnormal condition of our own making … only we can change it. But were we to ban all future nuclear tests, it still would take years for the atmosphere to clear.” (1)
In his latest book, The Gathering of the Forces of Light – UFOs and their Spiritual Mission, Benjamin Creme explains that our scientists do not have the technology to measure the etheric levels of energy, where the release of radiation from nuclear power plants and experimentation causes the most damage. He calls it the “deadliest release of energy that has ever taken place on Earth”, which depletes our body’s immune system, “causing more and more Alzheimer’s, memory loss, disorientation and the gradual breakdown of our body’s defence system”. (4) ….
Benjamin Creme’s information is that the Space Brothers are engaged on a spiritual mission to neutralize this nuclear radiation, spending “countless hours mopping up this energy and at the same time creating on the dense-physical plane a replica of the planet’s magnetic field”, through the crop circles, as part of a new energy grid that will “give this planet ... unlimited, safe power for all purposes, in ways that cannot be bought up or cornered by any group of men.” (4) [Benjamin Creme adds here: “The work of mopping up nuclear radiation takes 90 per cent of the Space People’s time and effort.”]
George Adamski hinted at this source of unlimited, free energy, which the
Space People use for space travel, when he wrote: “[T]heir power is drawn from
space the same as we draw the breath that keeps our bodies alive. In each case
Nature’s elements are converted into power or energy…. The visitors, working
in harmony with Nature, have learned how to harness this energy; but because
of our hostility towards one another, they did not explain the details of their
process to me.

In an op-ed article for the New York Times, ‘Unsafe at Any Dose’, long-time anti-nuclear activist Dr Helen Caldicott says that the health effects of nuclear radiation are far more severe than nuclear power advocates admit.
Caldicott says that there is still a debate regarding the number of fatalities resulting from the Chernobyl disaster in 1986. “…the International Atomic Energy Agency has predicted that there will be only about 4,000 deaths from cancer, but a 2009 report published by the New York Academy of Sciences says that almost one million people have already perished from cancer and other diseases. The high doses of radiation caused so many miscarriages that we will never know the number of genetically damaged fetuses that did not come to term. (And both Belarus and Ukraine have group homes full of deformed children.)”
Caldicott indicates that because it takes years, sometimes decades, for cancer
to develop, and radiation-induced genetic changes can take many generations
to appear, “We’re decades if not generations away from seeing the full effects
of the radioactive emissions from Chernobyl”. She adds: “We can’t possibly
imagine how many cancers and other diseases will be caused in the far future
by the radioactive isotopes emitted by Chernobyl and Fukushima.”
Doctors, who regularly treat patients with cancer, understand the dangers of nuclear radiation, and need to refute the claims made by physicists of the nuclear industry, Caldicott says.
“Physicists talk convincingly about ‘permissible doses’ of radiation. They consistently ignore internal emitters – radioactive elements from nuclear power plants or weapons tests that are ingested or inhaled into the body, giving very high doses to small volumes of cells. They focus instead on generally less harmful external radiation from sources outside the body, whether from isotopes emitted from nuclear power plants, medical X-rays, cosmic radiation or background radiation that is naturally present in our environment.
“However, doctors know that there is no such thing as a safe dose of radiation, and that radiation is cumulative. The mutations caused in cells by this radiation are generally deleterious. We all carry several hundred genes for disease: cystic fibrosis, diabetes, phenylketonuria, muscular dystrophy. There are now more than 2,600 genetic diseases on record, any one of which may be caused by a radiation-induced mutation, and many of which we’re bound to see more of, because we are artificially increasing background levels of radiation.”
Scientists have had more political influence in the US Congress than doctors
regarding nuclear power and nuclear energy, because of scientists’ demonstrated
‘success’ in these fields. And Caldicott believes that doctors until now have
not done a good job of explaining the long-term dangers of radiation to politicians
and the public. Both these situations must change, she says. “Doctors need
to confront the nuclear industry. Nuclear power is neither clean, nor sustainable,
nor an alternative to fossil fuels – in fact, it adds substantially to global
warming. Solar, wind and geothermal energy, along with conservation, can meet
our energy needs.”
Caldicott concludes by saying that the nuclear physicists in the Manhattan Project in the US who developed atomic weapons recognized the toxicity of radioactive elements. “They had hoped that peaceful nuclear energy would absolve their guilt over Hiroshima and Nagasaki, but it has only extended it. Physicists had the knowledge to begin the nuclear age. Physicians have the knowledge, credibility and legitimacy to end it.” (Source: The New York Times, USA)
